Windsor Smith is a cheap shoe brand with even cheaper management and it doesn’t belong in pac fair. I bought a pair of shoes for my mum on the 6th of December, there was a sale on and i liked some sandals and i knew my mum would too. I tried them on and usually I'm a 7 however i fit an 8. No worries, this does happen from time to time. My mum is usually a 9 so applying the same principle i got her a 10. My mum tried them on a week later and they didnt fit at all. A whole size up and they were still so small. I physically took them back to the store to exchange them for a size 11. The lady told me they didn’t currently have a size 11 but i should come back as they often have sizes sent in. I thought this isn't really a fix so i quickly went online and discovered this shoe doesn't come in a size 11 (small reminder my mum is a size 9). So i showed the lady her own website. She then proceeded to say if i didnt want the same shoe i could exchange the shoe for something else. Which i did want the shoe, in a usual size 9. However the store cannot provide me with that so as to not lose money i’ll accept an exchange. I didnt have the receipt as the person who sold me the shoes was not even fluent in english (i believe he may have been french). So asking questions was more of a challenge than it should have been. Regardless that was my problem and i was happy to wear that. So when she told me she would not be able to exchange the shoes until upper management had sent the receipt i was okay with that. I asked her how long that would take. She said they will send the receipt tomorrow however the Christmas sales start in about a week or so. So i should come back then as i’ll get a shoe of the same RRP. Rather than having to pay the difference. I was happy with this idea and came back with the shoes a week later. Can i also add to this. she had to bring out an nokia camera and take a photo of the transaction on my phone as well as the shoe box. Yes, she took a photo of the transaction on my phone with a camera… Regardless to this already bizarre interaction i came back the following week with the shoes expecting to swap them for something else. She told me she regret to inform me that upper management haven't responded to the email yet and therefore there is nothing she can do. Pissed off i asked her to send the email again. She said she absolutely will and they will 100% reply by tomorrow. I say thats great however im now going on holidays and the sale will be over by the time i get back. She apologised as there was nothing she could do. This time instead of bring the shoes in for a third time without confirmation that i would be able to swap them. I called the store told them my situation and that i would like a 100% guarantee that the receipt was sent to the store before i got there. She told me once again that upper management had still not responded to the email (a month now) and that she would send an “urgent” email and guarantee that the receipt would be sent to the store tomorrow. I confirmed with her that i would be coming into the store on that thursday and she GUARANTEED me that she would have the receipt and that i would not leave the store with that pair of shoes. Guess what? I rocked up on that Thursday. The receipt was still not there… at this point i was about to steal a different pair of shoes and tell them to bill me. As they had written down my details on three separate occasions. This store is 30mins from my house and i have wasted 5+ hours trying to chase down a receipt which most stores could look up in 30 secs. She apologised again but said there was nothing she could do. I asked for her to call me the following day in regards to the receipt (which they had said they would do every other time) but i told her i would be calling myself if i didn't hear from her. I finally got a call the following day from a manager saying that the receipt had arrived. However, they would not be able to honour the sale. I said thats fine i honestly dont even care anymore can i just swap the shoe for a different...

Read moreThis is the most extensive shopping centre in Gold Coast that you might even get lost and your feet could also get sore. Therefore, if you visit here for the first time, I highly recommend you search for their centre map and screenshot it and see it whenever you are not certain.
Despite all of that, this place is definitely a must see for tourists because of its spectacular architecture and diversity of shops and restaurants. Even the residents who live in Gold Coast such as my grandparents come here on a daily basis. The outdoor area in the core, which is accessible from the front entrance (Hooker Blvd), is just mesmerising and magnificent to see, especially in sunny days with blue sky.
There are 2 different food courts, one is just food court (Northeast, which is near the tram station), and the other is The Patio (south end of the outdoor area), and both of them are on first floor. Moreover, there are like all kinds of local chain supermarkets and department stores except for Aldi. If you are looking for rarer Apple products or accessories, JB Hi-Fi is probably the best option because there isn’t Apple Store here. The only Apple Store in Gold Coast is in Robina Town Centre.
In terms of transportation, the parking lots are quite sufficient even on the roof floor. The best option for travellers is to take G Link tram to Broadbeach South (South terminal station as of 2025), get off, walk for a moment, and you...
