I would like to happily express on how much of a pleasure it was to have food from this brilliant Japanese restaurant at broadbeach Pacific Fair !

Presentation and management 5/5

1.You cannot help on how busy the restaurant it can be especially being a few days before Christmas But man the building clean/full of hard working workers along side a very hard working manager who I happily got served by , looking like he has trained his staff members very well and let's not forget mentioning one special individual who caught my eye but I'll comment on that later on within the review

The food 5/5 stars

Where to start with the food? I had the hot and spicy Udon noodles with pull port with a side of port Gyoza just to the enhance the flavour And my goodness words cannot describe how delicious it was , absolutely brilliant Japanese food that I dearly miss when I was overseas in Tokyo or Osaka

The pull pork within the beautiful broth of the Udon would just melt within your mouth along side the delicious Udon noodles (nicely made and soft ) well done to the chief ! Do not worry if you are not a fan of the spicy Udon noodles you can always ask the very friendly staff what else to have I am sure to try all of the other food there at some point in the future!

The port Gyoza was absolutely brilliant ! Nice soft, hot and juicy ! Just like a streetfood made gyoza (the best way to have any Japanese food!)

THE SERVICE OF THE STAFF MEMBER

This Is the reason why I am making a review for this fantastic restaurant Her name is what I could pick up quickly by her name tag "Shiori" not only she is a legitimately lovely young women to be served by but my goodness she could work hard ! Example 1. When I lined up , was very busy Lots of people where entering to be served But what I could see is a small worker with her hands never being empty , always having plates being dished up or cleaned While on top of having a big smile on her face Honestly she looks like she really enjoys her job !

Judging by Shiroi's manager he really looks like he knows how to pick'em ! Shirori a real keeper! And the manager should be proud to have hired such a hard working and enthusiastic worker of service , especially with being so busy time of this 2020 end of days year we have been suffering from !

I noticed Shirori doing a few things I never would of seen from a customer representative ! She would give out menu's to customers waiting in line so they know what to say before being severed (talk about efficiency!) Then she would help customers out with recommendations on food !

me having customer service for a long time I know exactly what to treat customers and how they want to be treated , with upmost respect and experience as easy and relaxing as possible while eating ! (VERY impressed)

I had the pleasure being served by Shiori just briefly so I have a only fraction of understanding of how much of a great worker she is !

In conclusion if you feel like some Japanese food while you are at Pacific Fair , Come by to Motto motto !

will be visiting you guys very soon to have another amazing trip down memory lane of land of the rising sun!

Red (Spicy) Ramen ($18.95): You can choose Pork Belly Chashu or Chicken Karaage as your meat in your ramen and I chose the former one because I wanted to try both kinds of meat, so I also ordered 3PC Chicken Karaage ($6.95) separately. The pork bellies are quite succulent and a little fatty, which was great. The ramen noodles had slurpy, soft, relatively thin texture and the richness of the spicy oil in the broth was absolutely amazing and at the right amount.

3PC Chicken Karaage ($6.95): You can choose between traditional mayo or spicy mayo. It was quite generous of the chef because she put 4 pieces in total rather than 3. The coating was well fried and super crunchy. Dipping them with spicy mayo tasted even better.

Matcha Soft Serve ($3.95): You can make it delivered before or after your main dishes and in a cup or a cone. To my great surprise, this was probably the best matcha soft serve in the world as an old fan of matcha. The high sweetness and great creaminess of this soft serve were beyond description. There are a few Japanese Matcha chain cafés in Taiwan such as Tsujiri and Ito Kyuemon etc, but none of their equivalents were as superb and they cost like twice as much as this one. I highly suggest the matcha lovers come here to at least try this top notched matcha soft serve but also save some money. The portion of it was very great for its lower prices than most of the popsicles sold in the convenience stores.

In conclusion, the restaurant only had few seats but you can also eat it outside and it was quite busy at Thursday night due to the shopping day. You can scan the QR code on the table to order and pay online with your card. However, if you want to pay in cash, you need to go to show your order at the counter and pay before the meal. The cashier was very friendly and efficient and the prices were affordable. The restaurant is located on the first floor in the front of The Patio. (You can easily see the restaurant if you’ve already entered The Patio on first floor) Overall, it’s a...

We went in with a birthday coupon from their app ON THE DAY it was to expire. It was for a free meal. When we opened the app the coupon was gone...even though it was supposed to be good until the end of that day. We had a screenshot of the coupon but the girl at the front counter would not accept it since it was gone from our app! Legally it should have been good until they closed on that day. So we decided to forego our free meal (the incentive they give you to sign up on their app and get our personal information) and go ahead and eat there anyway since we had gone there to eat. There was only one other customer that was seated and they were outside so the restaurant so it was not very busy. Out of about half dozen tables we would have been happy to sit at they either had food crumbs on the table or if the table had been wiped down there were crumbs on the seats. Clearly the staff would have the sense to know if they wipe off a table with crumbs on it you can't just let gravity take to it to seats. Nonetheless we wiped the crumbs off the seats at one table and waited. Got our food and asked for an extra bowl to share some of the soup. The cashier (who handles payments and handing out change and other items to customers at the register) brought the bowl with her thumb all the way down on the inside of the empty bowl. This clearly is not hygienic. Overall, a disappointment really feel ripped off by the coupons they offer actually expiring BEFORE the expiration date. There are plenty of other places to eat...

This is by far the worst ramen I've had on the Gold Coast. The broth was weak, the noodles were overcooked and tasted like they came from a packet, there was no option to add an egg or nori, and the whole dish was utterly soulless. The only reason to order ramen from Motto Motto is if you find yourself stranded in Pac Fair and have an insatiable craving for noodles. Otherwise, there are so many fantastic ramen places on the Gold Coast (Muso, Ramen Danbo, I Like Ramen, JFX, etc) that take their ramen seriously (and give you an egg! And nori!) that deserve your patronage so much more. Despite the upmarket location, this is foodcourt ramen at its worst, completely devoid of love or flavour. Avoid if possible.

It’s Wednesday night and it was raining! Went to Motto Motto and I have one of the most comforting Ramen that I’d ever had. I got Classic Tonkotsu Ramen, and the broth was really nice, it’s clean and not oily. Ramen broth tend to be oily and feel sticky to your mouth but not this one. It’s amazing! The noodle is fresh and cooked perfectly with enough chewiness and soft. (Something that you can only get from fresh noodle.) And the Gyoza is also yum! The skin is so soft and it’s not drenched in oil like what I got in other Ramen restaurant. They are short staffed that night but everyone was very very very friendly and attentive. It was a pleasant experience and definitely will recommend to F&F!
