Do you guys like seafood? 🦀🦐 A brand-new Cajun seafood restaurant has just opened in Ipswich, and it's an experience you have to try! It's called Kickin'Inn, and they do things a little differently. Your food is cooked in a bag with delicious cajun spices, then dumped right on the table in front of you. 🎉 Talk about hands-on dining! You’ll get bibs and gloves to keep clean, so you can dig in without holding back. It’s messy, fun, and super tasty! If you’re looking for a unique dining adventure, this is definitely the spot. Check them out at the 📍Nicholas Street Precinct in Ipswich and bring your appetite for seafood done right. 🍤 💚 Kez #discoveripswich #thingstodoinipswich #nicholasstprecinct #cajunseafoodinipswich #seafoodinipswich #kickininn #kickininnipswich @Discover Ipswich @Kickin’Inn @Nicholas Street Precinct

We visited at 10:00am on a Saturday, coinciding with the Handmade Markets before Mothers’ Day. We took advantage of the free undercover parking directly downstairs, which was as plentiful as it was convenient. There were a number of food trucks available and we were spilt for choice. We had the vege spring rolls, nasi goreng and pork buns, which were delicious, but will sample fare from the other trucks in future. We stopped into the library and were informed that an Irish dancing presentation would be available upstairs. There were a myriad of markets on site, with postings, handiwork, clothing, bbq supplies, dog treats, wood craft and cards among the many things on offer. The prices were surprisingly reasonable. There was live music in the stage, which added a pleasant air to our time there. There were a number of folks with dogs, so this is a pet friendly event. It also had a positive and welcoming vibe as an event. This was a...

Well presented and maintained public space near the train station, buses and across the footbridge from Riverlink shopping centre. Public libraries, dining and conveniences all in a central location. Ample undercover parking accessible from the river side. When driving down Brisbane Street, turn INTO the old Nicholas Street Mall to access one of many 10min car spaces in amongst everything. If you're quick, you can return library books, pickup sushi (best around), Mexican, dumplings, bao buns, coffee, newsagent stuff, pharmaceuticals, even milk. With all that on offer, just park underneath and enjoy the atmosphere. Kids water play area and a great kids library by day, and creative lighting shows on adjacent buildings after dark. Close to regional gallery- this is a great destination for locals and tourists alike. Live music and markets regularly...

A beautiful cultural, entertainment and business hub right in the heart of Ipswich. A huge improvement from what it used to be, this certainly is a redevelopment with vision. A popular destination for locals and visitors alike. It is a beautiful development where the heritage of Ipswich has not been forgotten, but preserved, by way of architecture, refurbishments as well as artwork and design. It also has a dedicated children's library - Australia's first. There are many boutique shops and food options, and an open lawn area if you'd like to sit around and relax. Ample amounts of parking in the undercover carpark allows for a no-rush visit so we could enjoy a relaxed meal with...
