When pretending to work in the food industry there are simple processes in place when a customer is ordering and more importantly, waiting for his food : let the customer know when his order is ready, by either yelling the number on the docket or (when there is 5 ppl in the shop and sitting RIGHT IN FRONT of the cashier) tell him directly it's ready or bringing the bowl to the table... Even if the number was called, it is the staff's duty to check on it. It may avoid the customer waiting for 30 minutes for a bowl of rice with toppings thats supposed to be warm being cold and therefore be unhappy... And giggles do not count as an apology either... Seriously I was looking forward to this place after recently moving in Prahran and seeing the sleek design, nice music and seemingly good food when passingby but this kind of service is unacceptable, so much that I won't be coming back again. The 20$ brisket bowl isn't as tasty as it looks and is blend as well as having too much dressing wich overpowers the taste of meat, and missing Kale. I just wanted some quick nice food 😪 Its ok, there is plenty of choice...

I had been going to Fishbowl in Prahran for quite a while (since they opened) and utilising their original loyalty card each time I ordered. I had worked through quite a few stamps on the card (one off a free bowl), however, the last time I went in (haven't been back since) I was told that the physical loyalty card was no longer being used and that it was now the digital version via the app. I asked if given I was this close to the end that it would be okay to use the card and receive the free bowl (or even transfer my credit somehow) to which I was told there was nothing they could do and that I would need to pay full price/restart. The service was incredibly disappointing given I clearly had been to the shop a number of times and was basically told it was for nothing. Very disappointing and as I said, haven't...
Read moreI have lived around the area for a while and decided to finally try this FishBowl. I bought myself a Salmon O.G. Large for $18.90. It was tasty, but not very filling. The salmon cuts were also quite small and maybe only about 5-6 little pieces/slices of it all bundled up on one side. The extras and condiments were plentiful. It was 60% kale and beets, 30% rice and 10% salmon. FishBowl advertise themselves as “healthy fast food”, but at the cost of it not only being more expensive than regular fast food, but just overall getting less of it. If you are into eating healthy and don’t mind paying extra for it this is a good choice, but in terms of fast food, I would of at least expected that $18.90 would be more than enough to curb my hunger, but it didn’t. Also, I would’ve enjoyed a bit...
