Where do I start with this filthy dump? The food court signage leads you to believe there is a toilet and when you follow the sign and get to the "toilet" all that is there is a filthy rotten lift with poor instructions to say toilets are on the mezzanine. You essentially need to read cryptic to decipher this! The lift is an excellent way to contract hep c should you choose that option. Common sense would say put a sign up near the escalators? The centre has filthy eateries just look at the black smoke that comes out of the ones that back into Cato street. The centre management staff are rude & unpleasant especially with their handling of the recent escalator and rest room upgrades. It's no wonder many stores are vacant in this building. They charge high rent for a centre that is tired, has broken tiles, leaks water and is literally a drop in centre /shelter from the weather with free wifi for Melbourne's finest homeless, underground drug scene and commission tower scum. Look out for their local mascot the old lady with the walking frame and unwashed, matted grey wig that is...
Read moreWhere's that Italian Restaurant that used be there adjacent the lift enterance on the 1st floor 32 years ago?! They used to serve the most bad a$$ lasagna drenched in sauce?! Worse yet, where's the SPEEDS shoe store that had a stairway entrance below??!! I used to go there alot as a kid to buy alot of my shoes (Aero Sports lolz)?!! The lifts and escalators are in the wrong places as well. But I will say after SO long that the bathrooms are really really good though. How can a place that was once so good and adequate decades ago be really dull now?! Do all shopping centers have to be the size of Chaddy to get that hit now (even Chaddy is overkill to me now). I'm sorry but it's really bland to what I used go to decades ago but hey atleast the toilets are great even better than what they once were but is that my only reason now to go into Prahran...
Read moreBig thank you to the security at the shopping centre. My e-bike was stolen from outside Coles yesterday afternoon. The security guard found my bike chained up in the fire escape of the shopping centre and not only did he get in contact with me, he stayed with my bike until I got there from my house which I believe was past the end of his shift. During this time of me getting there the group of individuals returned to retrieve my stolen bike and the security guard got them to unlock their bike lock and leave despite only being one person against 3/4 others. Genuinely can’t thank the security enough and greatly appreciate them going above and beyond of their responsibilities to look after my stolen bike...
