I shopped here on Black Friday recently and I was so blown away by the level of customer service that I was fortunate enough to experience both on the floor and in the fitting rooms. I was greeted by the lovely girl standing out the front and she connected me with someone almost immediately to assist me with my bra queries. I wish I had gotten the name of the girl who helped me on the floor because she was so sweet and understanding. I had told her that I had never been into VS before and I was planning to get a proper bra (after spending the majority of my life in a sports bra/bralette). She gave me some helpful recommendations and encouraged me to try styles that I would have never picked out for myself (especially after having bad experiences with chunky wire bras). After getting measured on the floor, I was taken into the fitting room to try some demo bras with the help of another girl named Greyson. GREYSON WAS SPECTACULAR! She was super friendly, knowledgable and made me feel so safe/confident about my body whilst I was trying on these products (if not for her, I would have found the experience very confronting). I was able to have all my questions answered without someone making me feel stupid or unworthy. Whenever I shop, I always feel as if the girls in the change rooms can often seem disengaged, judgemental and rude - however, Greyson is such an EXEMPLARY RETAIL STYLIST and I wish there were more like her working in retail! I hope management sees this one day and is able to give her more praise
Read morehad a very disappointing experience at Victoriaâs Secret recently. A few days after purchasing a bra at full price, I went back to return it. As soon as I asked, the staff immediately said no returns are allowed right now. When I pointed out that my receipt clearly stated returns are allowed within 14 days, they suddenly changed their story. Both employees seemed completely unaware of their own policy (which is printed on every receipt) and had to call a manager to confirm. I then waited 10â15 minutes for the manager, who kept ignoring her staff when they called her over. As someone who manages a retail store myself, I would never leave a customer waiting that long, especially when my staff are clearly struggling. When the manager finally came out, she said she couldnât accept the return because of âthe inside of the bra.â I looked at it carefullyâthere was nothing wrong, just fabric slightly shifted, which can easily happen from trying it on once. If Victoriaâs Secret wonât accept bras back in that condition, why are they selling them off the shelf in the first place? On top of that, one of the staff told me that if I bought another bra, I would be required to be fitted so this âdoesnât happen again.â I was already fitted at this exact store, and the bra I purchased was in the size they recommended. The implication that the issue was my fault was insulting. To make matters worse, when I got home and my mum (who is an A cup, compared to my DD) tried it on, it actually fit her perfectly. How can a DD size bra fit an A cup? This speaks volumes about the inconsistency and poor quality of the products. Overall, this experience was a complete waste of time and money. The staff lacked product knowledge, the manager was unprofessional, and the bra itself was inaccurately sized and poor quality. I wonât be...
Read moreI had a great experience shopping until I was approached by a security guard and a worker for a âmandatory bag check.â What followed was incredibly invasive, they went through every single pocket of my bag, including my wallet and a small bag with personal hygiene products. They even searched the items I had just purchased from the store, ripping the packaging around the panties i had just bought and holding them all while and cross checking the receipt, she asked âAre you sure thereâs only three pairs in here?â after I said yes she took them all out and counted them, all while letting other customers with bags walk out freely. All of this was happening in the bag i had bought from their store just a couple weeks ago although they probably thought I stole that and just shoved all my belongings in there. The worker was being very fake, had smile on her face and was putting on a nice act. Of course they found nothing in anything they checked because Iâm not a thief. After all that she then said âOkay thank you bye.â
I was left standing there for at least five minutes being treated like a criminal. The clear age profiling and overall disrespect was unacceptable. No paying customer should have to endure that kind of humiliation just for shopping, especially a loyal customer like myself who has spent a ridiculous amount of money...
