Elm Court Motel — Hotel in Albury

The motel is very old, run down and poorly maintained. |“Decor” is definitely 1985, Small things like no hangers in the closet and a shower which took 10 minutes to adjust because of the water saver in a tiny shower head(in a freezing cold bathroom) made the stay less than ideal.|Staff were friendly and as helpful as they could be but the spa was out of order, the retractable cover over the pool had deteriorated and been removed a long time ago and the area was generally grotty, neglected and uninviting.|The beds are ok, we had a room for 4 people, it was quite spartan though, and we had to buy pillows because the ones supplied were too high and uncomfortable.|We were grateful for the “kitchenette,” poorly designed as it was, but at least it was a quiet room and located close to the CBD.|It’s a reasonable price but there’s much better value in Albury, suggest you research accommodation well...

Me and my family came to albury for a country get away and to spend time with family. But For the price of $320 we expected better. The room was not clean when we first got there as there was a built up of dust behind the TV and along the top of the bed frame ( Queen size bed) as well as damage to one of the lights on the bed frame ( was damaged when we first checked in). There was some paint damage to the wall. On Agoda it was said that the room was soundproof but we could hear everything in the rooms next too us. We had some random person knocking on our door at 3am in the morning.

In conclusion if your looking for a place that's cheap and affordable then your at the right place. But I would not recommend the Elm Court Motel.

The new manager Dion has destroyed our excitement and enjoyment going to Albury. We've had really bad experiences with previous management but we have always had the same room that we for 13 years and when we rang up at the start of the year prior to COVID-19 lockdown to check our booking Dion had confirmed our booking is the same room. When we arrived to our shock he had put us into a smaller dirtier room with bugs on the bedsheets and torn curtain.
