If i could give this place a zero star i would. I get this place isn't a designated place for pool and will attract all sorts of people along which is understandable however when i comes to customer service, its absolutely shocking at best. I mean i'm not throwing the specific employee under the bus, but when you ask an employee while you are paying if they've applied our loyalty card discount and clearly been lied and been given a massive attitude about it is outrageous yet alone asking an enquiry on stock of a certain item and been guarenteed to get an update (multiple times) and given them my phone number just to never get contacted at all and given my phone number as well is outrageous. Could say more but will leave it at that. In terms of maintanence, this is by far the worst place for it as well for how large this place is considering it has 3 places around. I get that tables don't get maintenanced which is understandable considering it is for recreation however what i mean by maintainence is that when you've got people possibly damaging tables and worst off for a place that specifies no vaping or smoking inside the premise just for people to vape inside all the time without being cautioned or questioned is enough for me to come back again. If you're looking for somewhere recreation there are other places i would go but would understand why you go here however be prepared to be blown smoke in your face by a vape by people inside the venue and also by the...
Read moreThe tables at City Heroes are the most dirty, non level and uncared Pool tables in Sydney. Which is such a shame being it DIAMOND 9ft tables with the worst cloth available on the market!!! The JOY Heyball tables are not much better. The pool tables are since 2 years so out of level and the slate joints even create a step that lets the cue ball run in reverse direction!!! The noise level is horrendous! Mostly from the electronic entertainment machines with blinking and flashing lights that disturb any focused pool player or from the punching bag that brings everyone close to a heart attack. And beware if someone chooses to play the drum video machine because then you will feel like you’re in the Chinese National circus show with the noise levels pushed towards hearing damage!!!
The owner doesn’t care for the quality of the pool equipment or the noise levels. Very disappointing!
Go to CELESTIAL Billiards in the CBD or ACE Billiards in Liverpool much better conditions for...
Read moreCityHeroes Burwood is hands down one of the best spots for pool and billiards around. The venue is massive, super clean, and packed with all types of tables—pool, snooker, Chinese Joy tables—and even darts, mahjong, bowling, and a bar. Perfect for groups or just a casual night out.
Heads up: On weekends or evenings, the wait time can be up to 2 hours if you don’t get in early. I'd recommend arriving right at opening or, even better, visiting on a weekday when it's way less crowded. Weekdays usually have no wait and the vibe is still great.
Located on Level 3 of Emerald Square, it’s a bit hidden but once you’re in, the atmosphere is top notch. Chill music, good lighting, and nice views of the area from upstairs.
Tip: No need to book in advance, but don’t sleep on this place—walk-ins fill up fast on busy nights. Great place to unwind, compete, or hang with mates.
Definitely worth checking out if you're into pool—or just looking for something fun to...
