FISHBOWL - Newtown — Attraction in Sydney

NEVER EVER order a take away from this place! I placed a take away order online from your Newtown store Once I arrived home I "almost vomited" from what I saw inside my food I ordered a beef brisket with spicy mayo dressing Only to discover disgusting (almost expired poached chicken mixed with the leafy greens) who eats chicken with beef !!!! Also there was NO sesame dressing what so ever I had to throw it away as I didn't want to get food poisoning !

Not to mention I requested a take away bag in my order notes but my order was left on a counter in the hot heat with no bag!!

The fact that they thought" hey she won't discover the faulty ingredients in her meal until she gets home makes me so furious God knows what happened inside the kitchen to the point where they wanted to get rid of this mess and just pack it in a take away order

Location: Centrally located, a few minutes from Newtown train station or seconds from the bus stops. Interior: Fresh, modern and hip young vibe Staff: Friendly... Although I asked and paid for an avocado side which never came (I figure this was a small oversight, I never bothered raising it: they seemed busy with uber orders). Meals: Lovely vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free options, think salad bowls with rice noodles or brown rice with salmon or beef brisket, salads, greens etc. They also have miso soup in a cup of you want a $3 warmer. Varied drinks: Kombucha, juices (in little glass jars you can take home with you). Relatively cheap, nice and fresh and served quickly. Good healthy, yet hearty options. Will definitely continue to eat...

Extremely disappointed with the service at this restaurant. After only delivering 4/9 orders and forgetting additional items as well and providing no method to contact the store, we then had to travel 30 minutes to their store to find half of our order sitting on the counter getting cold....still with items missing. We made a point that it was a bit on a nuisance that this happened and were very bluntly told it was OUR FAULT for ordering during their busy lunch period....WHAT A JOKE! Pathetic customer service and not even an offer to provide fresh food for those who were waiting....Will never use this branch again and it's such a shame as it was a favourite...
