AVOID AT ALL COSTS
My situation - The direct debit failed so I paid immediately online.
Next day they sent me a due notice ( for $0 ). Called to verify and they assured it would be fixed. Then 2 weeks later they've sent letter saying my policy is getting cancelled because of course, $0 due was not paid.
Why do I have to waste my time on hold with a call center agent on a nice saturday afternoon? If a single person would have done their job when this was first brought to attention, we would not have this situation. Disappointing.
If you are reading this please be aware of this company and pick literally anyone else; if you don't want unnecessary headaches.
Oh ... and do you know you cannot manage your insurance from the NRMA mobile app? Because... that would use up all the braincell in this company!

Read moreWhile giving them money they are pleasant as can be but as soon as you are the victim of a serious MVA caused by one of THEIR customers things get nasty quick. Not providing critical information, slow response to get your crushed vehicle assessed. My destroyed car has been sitting in front of my house for 6 weeks now. I also had to do the assessor’s job by sending them photos and a large amount of information. They are too stingy to keep my vehicle in a yard. So they dump it in front of my place and I wait and wait for some sort of communication. I received serious injuries in the MVA but it’s not like they give a damn. When I tried to raise a complaint yesterday the operator seriously asked me “What do you want from us?”
FIX MY CAR OR WRITE IT OFF AND GIVE ME MY MONEY. Duh…

Read moreIf I can give the minus 5 stars I would! Your Burwood Branch is the worst branch ever! No customer service at all! As per their own staff, NRMA is not trust worthy! DONT EVEN BOTHER TO TRY BURWOOD BRANCH! Came to renew the policy, one of your staff pointed out your previous employees made some mistake on our policy so we end up paying much more than we should be! He asked one lady seems like supervisor to come over to check if NRMA can do something to fix the issue. But that NRMA supervisor (the lady) came over, and she blamed its our own fault for trusting the NRMA branch staff to renew our policy for past three year! As per her, we should never trust NRMA! The things pissed me off most is she didn’t even apologise for what the branch staff did to us in the past! As per her, she doesn’t care what branch staff did before!...
