I am not a food critic or anyone so I will be true to what I experienced to myself after college one of my mate wanted to try the gozleme as he never tried one I know there is one near kfc but we didn't want to try that one out so we just came here he tried food from this shop before he liked it so we got a hsp one hotdog and a chicken wrap chicken wrap was a solid 4/5 it would 5/5 if they just added a bit more onions which I told asked them to add in my wrap, snack pack was good did not like it much but the portion size was really good maybe they can just cut down a bit of chips in there and add some more meat my personal choice can be different to others, but the hot dog personally that experience was not good like for me I came to ur shop for the first time I have no idea how ur food is I expect u to know everything about ur shop like personally I also work in a restaurant I also know what everything is if it is halal or not which meat it is or what the meat in the hot dog didn't taste familiar to me I asked the guy in there what meat do u guys use in the hot dog cause it is not tasting familiar it was just too soft and maybe its how they cook it or whatever I didn't recognise the taste the guys answer was I don't know which meat it is I asked him is it pork he said nah we are halal shop and we don't sell pork and I am also a muslim like bruh that's not what I was expecting from u like akhi let that aside I didn't see any halal certificate displayed anywhere even though all the shops that I know which are halal display their certificates ok let that be another thing they have halal written on their glass window but still akhi I want to know what I ate u don't know what meat it is how do u expect me to come in to ur shop again ever like if someone walks into the shop that I work and asks me about anything I just tell them yeah this is what we sell this is what this is and everything that guy might be new there Allah knows best but the owner should look into this and make sure that the staff atleast knows what meat u are using cause after that incident wallahi I doubt u guys are using halal meat or not but I am no...
Read moreI was hungry and wanted to eat something light, I gave it a chance. But then I found a piece of facial hair on the kebab once it was half eaten- that I can close 1 eye. When I got back to my stay location, I was baffled cuz I had intense need to rush to the toilet - explosive diarrhea and give it another few hours and I was quesy and couldn’t control my stomach. The projectile vomit was intense that I couldn’t make it to the toilet on time. My advice for ppl - don’t fall for the flashy sign. I got a bad case of food poisoning and I usually don’t have this problem😭😭😭 save your $$
The one thing I noticed is the staff handling the food did not look proper equipped in public safety food handling practices.. I work for a cafe and we have certificates for food and hygiene safety - I can’t say the same for how bad my stomach reacted...
Read moreI recently visited Sydney City Kebab and ordered a beef kebab. Overall, I was quite satisfied with my experience.
The kebab itself was generously packed with tender, well-seasoned beef, fresh veggies, and just the right amount of sauce. The pita bread was soft but had a nice crisp from the grill, making each bite delicious. I appreciated that the ingredients tasted fresh, and the portion size was more than enough for a filling meal.
The service was friendly and quick, even during a busy time. The restaurant has a casual vibe, perfect for a quick stop after a long day. Prices were reasonable for the quality and portion size.
If you’re in the area and craving a good kebab, Sydney City Kebab is worth a visit!
