Innsbruck ist eine Stadt, die mich von Anfang an begeistert hat. Die Altstadt ist einfach wunderschön. Die Vielfalt an Restaurants ist beeindruckend. Egal, ob man nach traditioneller österreichischer Küche oder internationalen Spezialitäten sucht, hier findet man alles. Die Gastronomie-Szene ist wirklich lebendig und es gibt für jeden Geschmack etwas Passendes. Was Innsbruck jedoch wirklich einzigartig macht, ist die atemberaubende Kulisse der Alpen. The central street of the city, which is quite long. It is full of beautiful buildings and interesting shops and restaurants, not all of which are very expensive; indeed, you can also find cheap options. From 26th of December until 6th of January there are some Christmas Markets here, which are few and very expensive!

The large column is very visible from afar. It is in the newer area of the town center close to the Rathaus and Kaufhaus shopping malls. Aside from the statue on top of the column, there are four other ones at the base. There are also multiple carvings on the base of the column. Quite a nice place to stop or meet up.
