Salzburg City Wall is the grounds for via ferrata climbing in the centre of Salzburg. There are four climbing routes with different difficulty levels that will meet every climber's needs - from the short horizontal practice route to the "Kapuziner-Gams" route with overhanging "E" sections. The steel cable and fixations are thick and well maintained. An interesting feature are ladders near the top. Its like a clip and climb for adults to the extreme. No one to look over your shoulder. Just a open gate with instructions. You need a harness helmet nice gloves and two times one meter safety ropes each its own clip.
You clip both on and transfer them one at a time along the fixed cable to ascend.
