Ossi Spezialitäten — Restaurant in Salzburg

we visited just for a little snack while waiting for our movie at Das Kino to start… we felt the waiter was very nice and funny, the food (falafel sandwich and mixed salad) was tasty and quite big enough. we were sitting outside, as it was the first day of no rain after two weeks of rain every day. unfortunately, in Austria it is still permissible to smoke in the outside seating areas, and on all sides around us somebody was smoking, which really dampened the taste of the food and the overall experience. 🥺 But you can’t blame the restaurant for the Austrian laws (or lack thereof), can you? I used to be a happy customer of this restaurant until my most recent experience. My typical experience was one of diligent, kind service and I received good treatment from the staff, as well as good fresh food. When I went most recently with a friend whose treatment was completely different.

Perhaps because he was a foreigner, perhaps because of his ethnicity he was treated rudely and we were seated in the back room of the restaurant when the front was almost completely empty. I am very disappointed in this establishment that I have enjoyed...

Good food I ordered the beef roll and pita and tasted great. I noticed as I was sitting, the person running the bar and sitting people was watering down all the wine he served his guest. Not sure if this is a normal thing but it just didn't look right. Also saw him our himself a glass and drink it. Nonetheless the food was great...
