It’s 8 floors of pretty steep stairs so allow yourself time for that if travelling with seniors/children. Every floor has seating and some materials to read or an interactive screen so one can rest before going further up. The terrace has a 360 view and one can easily spot the mall, carpet museum, flame towers, and of course the Caspian Sea. Read moreThe Maiden Tower is one of the oldest buildings in the city. I was near her many times, but always passed by. And finally the stars aligned and allowed us to rise. There are quite a lot of people during the day. During the ascent, people come down towards you and making your way up the steps is quite difficult.

Read moreMaiden Tower is an old construction tower of Old Baku city. There is a ticket of 15 Manat for foreigners which seems to be a bit on higher side because it's just a 360 degree view of Baku City on the top.
Some small weapons and old history displayed on the walls of the stairs when one goes up stairs.
One can skip this place on the visit if old Baku city and have a walk around of the city as well.
