Buzz and his crew member were great and the experience was amazing!! I will give you advice on where to walk and where & how they pick you up. All cruises doc at the Prince George Wharf Nassau Bahamas Cruise Terminal. There is lots of shopping, food, vendors, and its guarded by gates and police. You can walk all of the way thru to where on one of my pictures I marked with an arrow in yellow where there is a gate to stay in the protected area as long as possible if you would like. Once you are out of the gate there will be people selling all kinds of experiences from there to Senor Frogs. I was unaware of that Adventure Parasail Bahamas did NOT have anyone on shore so I will admit that I got a little nervous that I was in the wrong spot. Tim at Adventure Parasail Bahamas was very kind and assured me that the guys would be there to watch out for their White boat with Parasail written on the side (I have included a picture as well of the guys and the boat in the harbor area) When they pulled up to the area we alerted the harbor attendant and he got us to the right spot to jump on the boat (its marked on the photo in the red area with the green arrow pointing to it). Our family of 4 jumped in the boat and we were off. 2 of us parasailed while the other 2 watched from the boat. It was great that the whole family got to participate even though not everyone wanted to experience it from way up top. We were easily instructed on where to go and what to do and we were quickly up in the air. You are up there for about 7mins but its feels much longer with BEAUTIFUL views. I have been before and I knew it was customary that halfway they usually drop you down to touch the water but my son was not a big fan of that idea so we asked Buzz not to do that part and he was easily accommodated us. I was really excited that at the very end when we were being brought back to the boat he still gave us the chance to touch the water and then right back on the boat. Have Fun, Enjoy & Tip your captain for an amazing adventure in...
Read moreI am actually really shocked by this experience. The crew barely even acknowledged us and we were their only guests! We didn't get a hello or any kind of greeting or personable conversation. They also didn't bother to explain anything, ask us if we had questions - just put our harnesses on, told us to stand up, go over there and hold on here. They were just going through the motions and could care less about making it an enjoyable experience.
The entire excursion was 15 minutes including the boat ride from where they picked us up.
The booking also doesn't offer an option for those who have their own transportation which resulted in wasted time of us driving to the port which was much farther away from where we would have wanted to be.
Parasailing is a fun experience itself and the views are quite incredible, but this company made no effort to add to the experience which was really...
Read moreWe are staying at the reef, and heard great things about adventure parasail. From the moment I spoke to Tim, he explained everything and I reserved and paid online with a credit card. We took the Atlantis shuttle to harborside hotel and walked to the marina across the street. Captain Buzz and shipmate china were right on time and made us feel very safe. People complaining its only a 6-7 minute ride, but it clearly states that on the website, and no place will give you more time - in the 6-7 minute ride you get to see the whole island and beautiful clear water from above. They take you away from the marina to an area where its less crowded and then they stop the boat and off you go!
Took my daughter and it was...
