Like the Plaza but hate the parking and traffic flow to anything there which is just a ball of confusion. Coming in from East Bay Street, there is a small roundabout as you enter but no directions as to how to get to the bank which is immediately to the left/east of the roundabout. Going around the south side of the roundabout to go to the bank, one runs into 2 arrows on the ground pointed in the opposite direction/west suggesting that there is no eastbound traffic to the bank behind the roundabout. Pulling into any of the driving lanes running east/west in the parking lot one finds the parking slots on the north/left side of the lane are angled for eastbound traffic and the parking slots on the right/south side of the lane are angled for westbound traffic which if they are empty as they invariably are makes it difficult for customers to park. The parking lot seems full all day which suggests to me that employees are parking in the majority of slots leaving few parking spaces for the shopping public. Plaza has a nice variety of store but I avoid going there if I can because parking and traffic flow is difficult and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhile staying at a nearby resort we needed coffee and creamer and sugar for machine in our room and we ventured to this nice little strip mall that featured a pretty big and nice supermarket, We went into the supermarket and were stunned at the extremely high cost for most items as I spent $32 for 2 cans of pringles potato chips,a 5lb bag of sugar,7oz jar of coffee, and a small container of powder creamer which in NY would have easily costed well under $15 in most supermarkets!!!
I dont care about prices as much as I feel sorry for the local population here in the Bahamas who need to pay these EXTREME prices for every day needs!!
A gallon of gas is nearly $9 per gallon which is complete robbery and these people are NOT making top dollar with their jobs and these high prices are definetly hurting many of them and its so not right!!!
Can we please all just come together and be happy so everyone can enjoy their lives and not end up starving even though they work for a living???
Something needs to change and it needs to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThereās a place here called Sandbox (baby store for stoppers, breast pumps, diapers, clothes, milk storage, car seats, cribs, etc) and it SAVED ME! It wonāt really show up on google maps or Apple Maps but itās in this shopping plaza. I forgot my breast pump at home back where my baby is and I was going to be completely out of options had it not been for this store that had the perfect wearable portable breast pumps. No, they were not cheap but I was in a pinch and they werenāt THAT much more than in the states if I were to have bought them there. The thing that was expensive was the milk storage bags. I think a whole box was about $40 or they have a box of reusable storage bags but considering this was a vacation without my baby, that would not have been helpful. This place was a godsend and Iām so glad it exists! Fairly easy to find right smack dab on the middle of the...
