The Olympic Museum is one of Sarajevo's treasures, located in the impressive building from 1903. The Olympic Museum rises on a slope, and looks like a lighthouse on the main street of the city. Built on the model of aristocratic mansions, it is decorated with its tower. The building was designed by the architect Karlo Paržik. It was declared a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of the architectural ensemble from the Austro-Hungarian period in Petrakijina Street. The Museum OM has a collection of items from the competitions held during the Sarajevo 1984 Winter Olympic Games. Among the many interesting artifacts, apart from sports souvenirs, there are original graphics for Sarajevo Olympic Winter Games 1984 posters by famous artists such as Andy Warhol, Cy Twombly, Victor Wasareli, Hundertwaser, Jean-Michel Folon, David Hockney, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Milton...

Samaranch, bobsley vehicle, projects of Vućko mascot, a lot of photos and few movies (those are worth of seeing). Be patient, around 25 minute you will see the bobsley competition as well! At second floor you will find thousands of post stamps, medals, gifts. I strongly recommend visit...
