Right nearby a few popular museums and in the center of the popular old town area, randomly walked past after a museum visit at dinner time so decided to give it a try - Brilliant food for very reasonable price! As a tourist you kind of always hear the old saying avoid restaurants in very touristic areas, but this one was definitely a very nice surprise that exceeded all expectations! Family restaurant serving traditional Bosnian cuisines. Very delicious food (looks authentic too), nice vibe and friendly service. Wish I could give more than 5 stars. If you’re looking to try some traditional local food, this is probably one of the best places to go around here. I’ve tried quite a few restaurants in this area and so far this is the best I’ve been on this trip. Dessert is a must try too. Love that it isn’t too sweet at all.

A true 5-star goes to this restaurant for excellent food. Begova čorba (creamy chicken okra soup) was amazing. We ordered dolma (stuffed pepper) and Sedef sahan (a mix of different meals). Sedef sahan is a good idea to try a bit of everything. It was also delicious. Besides, when we got here, we wanted to sit outside, but no table was free. The moment a table became free, the waiter informed us, which was a nice touch as we were ready to settle for sitting inside. The waiter spoke English and was helpful. You should eat here at least once on your trip if you like homemade food. Have cash with you as it is the only payment method (Euro or Bosnian marks).

Came into the restaurant with a considerable amount of friends in the late evening. We were received with a warm welcome and the owner assisted us with the menu. (Sedef Sahan) The place has a seperate room with great aesthetics. We ordered quite a lot of food. The timing of delivery (important as we ordered quite a lot - some main dishes as sides to get acquainted with Bosnian cuisine). The taste of the multiple meals were nothing short of being perfect. A full meal is around 15-25 KM Definitely, would come back and would recommend it to anyone! 5/5

This place is tucked away behind a building, away from all the noise and commotion of a Main Street it’s off of (right next to the church). The food is delicious!!!! I had read an article on Bosnian cuisine and panicked that I hadn’t tried half of it - well they had a sampler on the menu with all the dishes I wanted to have! Ask the waiter for recommendations and he’ll help you.

In general, don’t expect much emotion from the waiters (at least that’s been my experience this trip), but it just adds to the charm of Sarajevo as far as I’m concerned. We did leave a tip for the waiter and that got a smile out of him. :) - I guess tipping is not common here? Idk.

I came here for lunch today and I had a pleasant time. Sometimes I can understand the perspective of tourists complaining about being over charged unfairly and also the perspective of restaurants as well (paying staff, food expenses, the rent and other overhead costs to run a business adds up) but I can confidently say today was the first meal I had here where the price justified the quality of my meal and experience. My food (I had cevapi) was fresh and hot the service was efficient and attentive, there was very little smoking (I know I'm in Europe but it was a nice change to not smell smoke) and overall its a beautiful spot whether you are seated...
