Kašika Viljuška Nož — Restaurant in City of Sarajevo

On a 6 week Balkan adventure and this place is absolutely in the top 3 (along with a spot in Macedonia and another in Albania). Cannot recommend highly enough. The owner/ chef/ waiter is a lovely and kind soul. Funny and polite. And he cooks an absolute smashing dish! We had the goulash, ravioli and Caprese salad. All super duper tasty and I'm just sad we didn't find this place sooner to come back again as we leave tomorrow! Alcohol is very reasonably priced too, as is the food. Can't get much more affordable in town! Plus nothing beats a dinner with heart. Will be sending all our friends here and hope to visit again soon!

We had such a lovely meal here. Being vegetarian we struggled in Sarajevo at times but walking into this restaurant the lovely owner asked if we ate meat, and when we said no proceed to produce a fabulous meal and all at such a good price. We ate bean soup, fresh bread, a mixed salad with parmesan, a caprese salad accompanied by warm marinated beetroot and then some fabulous pancakes to finish. The owner was so generous and gave free glasses of a local spirit too as well as the pancakes. I couldn't recommend this place more, and I rarely take the time to leave reviews. It beat anywhere we found in the old town - for food quality and price - and was only a few minutes walk out...

A great find and place to eat in Sarajevo. Authentic Bosnian food, great taste, great price, and location. It's only small and can probably accommodate about 12 people but don't let that put you off. We had a meal for 2 with drinks for les than 15 euros.

The mashed potato with blue cheese was exceptional good as was the pickled cabbage.
