Rude and unpleasant attitude from the ticket lady

This is my second time buying shuttle tickets from this company, and both times I happened to deal with the same lady at the counter. Her attitude was consistently unfriendly, cold, and clearly impatient.

The first time I bought a ticket, when I simply asked if dogs were allowed, she answered in a very irritated and blaming tone, making me feel uncomfortable to ask more.

When I went to buy tickets the second time and saw it was her again, I even tried to be extra polite and friendly, with a smile, but she acted exactly the same. This time, I said I wanted to buy an 11:00 a.m. departure ticket, planning to stay at Moraine Lake for about 4–5 hours and return at 4:30 p.m. Later, I found out she issued a 9:45 a.m. departure ticket instead (the return time was correct).

I thought maybe there was a misunderstanding — I did ask about 9:45 earlier while checking availability — so I politely mentioned that I actually meant to buy the 11:00 ticket and asked if it could be changed. Immediately, she responded defensively and very rudely, saying, “No, you said 9:45. You didn’t say 11:00,” in a harsh tone, even though I’m sure I did.

At that point, I didn’t want to talk to her anymore. She wasn’t solving the issue or doing her job properly — she was simply venting her bad mood at the customer. I don’t expect overly polite service, but I do expect staff to handle matters reasonably and professionally.

To be fair, their shuttle service is convenient and reasonably priced. But if you can’t get tickets from Parks Canada and need to use this shuttle, I strongly recommend booking online to avoid unnecessary unpleasant encounters that might...

If you’re looking for a proper tour where they actually give you helpful information & knowledge, this one’s not for you. It’s literally just pull up, ride the bus and leave. You’re better off trying to drive to the lakes yourself and save some $ that way.

We booked the Lake Louise & Moraine Lake combo tour, didn’t receive prior instructions so when we arrived at the Lake Louise Inn, we didn’t know where to park. Since my partner was driving, we pulled in front of the tent and I got out the car to ask.

Unfortunately, I was met by the most unpleasant, cranky, and unhelpful person - I believe their name is Julia. There was no “hello, how can i help?”, just a straight up “you can’t park here, move you car”. Ok Julia, the car wasn’t parked? How about you actually help me check in and give me instructions or proper information as a person working in TOURISM??

It’s baffling when someone working at a check in counter for a sight seeing service makes you do all the work of figuring out how to check in, where to board, at what time, etc etc. And then to have to put up with an attitude on top of that? Miserable people like this should go work at a bank or for the government, since that’ll be way more of a personality match.
