Make sure you walk around the corner off the boardwalk by the water. The best part of this Gallery was if you want artwork to bring home they had “smalls” also for sale of artist’s works to bring home. A wonderful diverse selection of art and sculpture. All local- bring home something meaningful to remember your trip. When you see this sculpture on the boardwalk look away for the water and you’re close.

It is a pleasant gallery to visit as more commercial galleries go. It tries to balance the more commercial aspects (deftly crafted pieces aspiring to follow in the foot steps of Tom Thompson or indigenous artists) with solo exhibitions of artists who are more into exploring form, color and meaning. It leans heavily into the pretty and the inoffensive- and there’s nothing wrong with that, eh?

With opening of The Prow, Halifax's art scene has truly stepped it up a notch.
