When Teresa & I booked our tour, we were impressed with Sean getting in touch with us to answer our questions so quickly. We could tell that they really wanted us to enjoy ourselves. From the moment that Joy ( and Suki) picked us up, we knew we were going to have good time. The knowledge that Joy has about the canyon, it's history, it's geology, it's plant life and, it's wildlife is extensive to say the least. Going on this tour , with Joy & Suki was like having a friend take you on a fun walk and show you some very cool stuff about Maligne Canyon. The only regret that we have is that we can only give Sean, Joy & Suki 5 stars out of 5 .... they really deserve a 7 out of 5 !!! ................Thanks Again Joy, Sean & Suki ...

My trip to Jasper was a dream come true and it’s all thanks to Jasper Hikes & Tours. I hit lots of walls early in my planning. I only had three days to enjoy everything and because of my timing (early November) and the fact I was a solo traveler, a lot of other groups were closed for the winter or wouldn’t take 1 person on a tour. I almost cancelled my trip all together since I couldn’t find anyone to guide me through all the things I wanted to do.

Luckily I found Jasper Hikes & Tours. Sean went out of his way to check all the things off my list, and went the extra mile to fulfill my wish of seeing the stars in Jasper’s night sky. He has awesome knowledge about the town and the sites, is a great conversationalist, and despite the ice and the fact I was a female solo traveler, I was never worried about my safety.

I will definitely be coming back one day to enjoy the summer in Jasper and will definitely be going with Jasper Hikes &...

This tour exceeded our expectations and I can't recommend Jasper Hikes & Tours highly enough. If you're in any doubt about this trip, it's worth it - book it! My friend and I did the 8am Maligne Canyon ice walk in early Dec 2019. Booking was fine, Sean got back to me about a query super quickly, and Joy picked us up promptly on the morning. We were over the moon that Suka the dog joined the hike too :D So friendly, and she kept our feet warm on the bus ride to the canyon! (they check if you're OK with a dogs before hand, which is great. And if not preferable, then doggo doesn't join, no problem) Joy provided lots of interesting information about the canyon along the way and there were so many unique spots of interest as we descended on the hike, finally reaching down onto the canyon floor itself. Great experience and Joy was such a fantastic guide. I don't think I saw her...
