This place is probably one of our favorite brunches ever, anywhere. The vibes and music are immaculate, as are the service and food. we ordered 5 dishes, here is our rank in order 1) chia pudding 5/5 honestly the greatest breakfast bowl of sweetness, it is wonderful. Recommend sharing it with the table. This was the highlight 2) falafel bowl 5/5 the green sauce on that salad slaps so hard, falafel is wonderfully seasoned, as are the eggs. This is the main we would recommend. We are confident that breakfast bowls are quintessential menu items having had it MANY times, and this one knocks it out of the park and is probably the best one we’ve had. 3) the Turkish eggs 5/5 runs a little on the sweet side but otherwise was well seasoned and cooked. It is likely from the hot honey haloumi. The cucumber was refreshing 4) kimchi breakfast sandwich 4/5 it is a good breakfast sandwich, the sourdough was great but egg is a bit overcooked and did find it was lacking texture and sweetness (eg fresh apple or pear) to balance it out, the kimchi is good but a lot of it overpowers the flavour of this sandwich The chai was delicious and a must get here as well.

Great view, excellent food, slow service. I want to start by saying that while the menu is small, it delivers on all fronts: freshness, flavour, portion size and value. I want to love this place, but it's tough when it took 45 minutes for the food to arrive, and there were probably around 10 other customers dining at this time. Additionally, I requested the fried eggs to be subbed for poached, which the waitress said would be fine, but when the dish arrived they were definitely fried. Unfortunately we were now short on time so I didn't mention this to the staff. To be fair, the meal was still delicious - just not quite what I wanted. On the bright side, there is a lovely view to enjoy while waiting, and plenty of opportunity to soak up some sunshine. In summary, I'd try coming here again, hoping that the slow service was a one-off. Personally, I think it could be due to their small kitchen size - I was surprised by what they could produce in that small space!

This place is indeed a gem. More often than not, if everyone is calling out a place as their favourite in the area, it ends up being over-hyped. But Sunhouse is different. It really lives up to all its well-deserved hype. An intimate cafe with seating inside their sun-room and balcony alike, Sunhouse has limited options in the breakfast. Don’t let limited menu deter you from visiting. What they serve is super delish. We had Turkish eggs and French Toast. Turkish eggs had a very nice crispy naan bread along with it and the cucumbers in sides took away the usual heaviness of dish making it a well-rounded plate. French toast played with undertones of citrus from lemon jam and natural sweetness of coconut cream while keeping the overall toast just the right amount of sweet. Even for a person who usually doesn’t have a sweet tooth, I would like to return to Jasper and try this. Highly highly recommended for...
