Great location but really hit or miss pending on when you visit. This location is just off of the Dundas TTC Subway Station, on the highest floor of 10 Dundas Street East. It's surprising how many theatres are packed in here as you navigate from the building lobby up to the theatre lobby. The staff do a great job at checking for proof of vaccinations and being extra courteous and patient. This location has an orderly line system provided for being required to enter the theatre lobby. Additionally, you'll have to get in before purchasing the tickets on-site. The staff is pretty responsive in helping and letting customers know the usual about which theatre and what floor to be directed to. The building maintenance is pretty hit or miss and could be better. When we visited, the women's bathroom was in horrible shape near theatre #6. When we went, one of the stalls had no door, at least two stalls were not dealt with and were clogged. In another stall, water was just everywhere. It was an absolute mess and was disgusting. This was around 3pm on a Saturday. Unfortunately, the IMAX theatre #6 that we went to was overly loud for our viewing of DUNE (Part One). Our viewing experience was taken away by the sound quality and at some points, we could not even hear the actor's voices. Some of us had to put in earplugs/earbuds that we owned to muffle a bit of it. The theatre was clean though, and was nicely spaced out. Not sure if we would come back for IMAX, it wasn't worth the price, DUNE was pretty good though if you heard it. For those who want a more exclusive experience, the VIP addition is a must-try. The Cineplex Cinemas Yonge-Dundas and VIP offer a VIP experience for movie-goers that is worth the additional cost. The VIP section is well-designed, and the seats are comfortable, making the movie-watching experience enjoyable. The menu at the seats is a nice touch, and customers can order food and beverages from their seats. The staff member delivers the food and beverages to the seat, which is convenient for customers, and we ordered several beers for the group and a 'First Class' fishbowl, which was a great experience overall. Customers can order food and beverages from their seats, and a staff member will deliver the items to them. Even if you arrive late, you can still order outside and eat later or at the seats. The only downside is the location of the bathrooms outside the 19+ area, which may be inconvenient for some customers. Note, one downside of Cineplex is the new charge for online booking, which may be a turn-off for some moviegoers. However, there is a way to save some money by purchasing tickets in person. Another option is the CineClub Movie Subscription Program, which is available for $9.99 per month and waives the online booking fee. Members can enjoy one regular admission ticket every month with no expiration date. A limited number of tickets are also available for $9.99 for the same booking.

DO NOT SIT IN ROW G OF THE IMAX THEATRE!! I paid 100% of the price to watch 50% of a movie. I am 5’11” tall and could still only see 50% of the screen in front of me (as you can see in the photo) so if you’re shorter than that, good luck! Row G is basically on the same level as the row in front of it, meaning that even if the seat in front of you is empty, only 70% of the screen is visible. It is incredibly badly designed. It was not just me having this problem, people on either side of me were also dodging the heads in front of them to read subtitles. It completely ruins the moviegoing experience, especially when you pay such exorbitant imax prices to go for an immersive viewing experience. I had to move down to the front row of the theatre to get a better view and as you might imagine watching a movie in imax from the front row is far from ideal. Really soured the experience of watching a great movie that I had been looking forward to for months.

recently visited the Cineplex Theatre at Yonge and Dundas Square, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the modern and clean facilities. The staff were friendly, professional, and went out of their way to ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit. The theatre itself is top-notch, with incredibly comfortable seating and excellent sound quality that fully immerses you in the movie. I also appreciated the wide selection of snacks and drinks available, catering to all tastes. The convenience of its location in the heart of downtown Toronto is unbeatable, making it perfect for a night out. What truly sets this Cineplex apart is the overall atmosphere—there’s a vibrant energy at Yonge and Dundas that makes watching a movie here feel special. Whether you’re seeing the latest blockbuster or catching an indie film, this theatre offers a fantastic experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Cineplex franchise in general is pretty good in terms of the innovative ways they come up with for us the audience to enjoy the movies. So this time I chose this location as it services 4Dx experience. If you enjoy DBox and imagine that 3d DBox experience could be improved well think again. This experiences plays with all your senses. Smell, smoke, wind, air in your face on your ears around your neck, water splashes, you get completely immersed in the 3d experience making it 4D. Even the motion and blasts near your feet etc. The smell of metal.. It makes it all too real to avoid. I just watched my first movie in 4Dx Avengers Infinity Wars and I must say if you haven't indulged yet, you are missing out. Why 4 star rating? Because like all other locations Cineplex doesn't care about healthy snacks. The one desi shop that's serving some desi snacks opens at 2pm so morning showtimes will not be able to use them.

We prefer IMAX which is good in this point, I can feel the sound vibration from the cheer, the sound is clear and loud enough. 3D is also great. Also they have VIP sofas where we can feel like at home, we go there where movie is not available in IMAX. I wish it had soda machines like Scotiabank Theatre has, where I can mix regular with zero Coke like I want. The website is heavy to use, for popular movies it's challenging to navigate through dates and theatres to find suitable seats. Once my wife bought tickets in the wrong theatre because of that terrible usability. There is a monopoly in the industry, that makes the business owners ignore all the problems. I spend almost a hundred bucks per visit, I think I deserve better service.

We went there recently to watch the movie Drop. This place is really nice and clean. The staff was good and welcoming. Edited-We watched the movie Sinners in VIP couple of days ago.It was really an amazing experience. The theatre is kind of private small room which has good chairs and they have the VIP menu, so we can order and they serve the food to the seats plus they have drinks(alcohol)as well. One must have this experience!
