I bought a rug from Studio Y Design back in February. The salesperson Kirk was nice and helpful. I waited a couple of weeks for it to arrive and when I brought it home, there was a big stain in the middle of it. So I contacted Alykhan, the manager of Studio Y Design and he told me that I will have to wait a few more weeks for them to replace it. Not ideal but not the end of the world, either.

After waiting a few weeks, I emailed for an update to no response. I called and he told me that it will be another few weeks. So I waited. Then emailed a few more times every couple of weeks but he didn't respond. I had to call the store to get him to set expectations with me when it was going to arrive. There was no apologies for the delays, and no offer of a discount or anything. When the rug finally arrived in the warehouse 3 months later, the manager told me that he would get a rush job on delivery to my house. When the movers called that day, they told me I had to wait 5 days to get it. So I had to call back and get the manager to give me an update on when it was being delivered and the rush deliver was changed from 5 days to 4.

Overall it was 3 months before I got my rug and the entire time I had to chase down the manager to get him to set expectations with me. I give 2 stars because the salesperson was nice and the rug I eventually received was good and affordable. But I wouldn't go through the hassle again especially because the manager doesn't seem to really care about...

Hello, I am reviewing my very disappointing experience with the customer service and the owner of StudioYDesign in relation of the acquisition of a EQ3 Square Dinette table that cost me $1,750.37 On September 9, 2022 I ordered the table from StudioYDesign to be delivered to Toronto On December 10 2022 I received the EQ3 Square Dinette Table Oak/Clear Glass. It arrived with the damaged top as you can see from the picture. On December 11, 2022, I contacted the shop through their website reporting the damage and requesting a replacement. On December 13, 2022 I followed up with an email and the pictures of the damages to which they replied they were gonna create a report and create a new order for the top. On Jan 16, Feb 16, March 3, March 31 and April 27, 2023 I followed up with phone calls and emails from which they were all promising that the owner Alykhan would have contacted me with an update on the order. Today is May 26 2023 and I still have not received any update. When I called the phone was hanged up.

I understand that there may be delays, however for the cost of the product I would expect a better and more efficient response and service. As a result, as much as they are selling interesting products, I do not recommend at all to buy from StudioYDesign but instead buy directly...
