Visited this spacious warehouse for the second (and last) time. I was the only customer in the entire store, with no employees in sight, including the front counter. Finally, after standing there for at least five minutes, a person came out from a glasses in area, with a chip on her shoulder, a condescending attitude, seemingly annoyed that I’d taken her from something far more important than assisting a walk-in customer. Right off the bat I was told I’d have to sign an waiver, stating once a section of wire was cut, it could not be returned for refund or credit. Seriously? Sign and print out a waiver for 2 meters of wire?? I ordered a short section of loomex and asked for some information about another product - the response was “ if you don’t know what you want, I can’t sell it to you”. I’ve worked in retail sales myself, for almost 50 years, and never have I treated a customer so rudely. Yes, Gescan caters primarily to contractors, but that’s no reason to not help a retail customer locate the product they are looking for.
