So I have been a member at HairClub for the hair therapy and this is my honest review:-
Stylists: Ashley is number 1. She really cares about the job and you can clearly see how dedicated/talented she is. The way she styles the hair, products she would put, and the appointment overall with her is amazing. Alena is great. Maybe 70-80% of the comment on Ashley. Like she is really good but Ashley stands outs. I wish her good luck in her new place. Holly: Hmmm to be honest I always felt rushed and appointment care/haircut is average. That's my experience sorry. She is a sweet person though.
The overall experience:- The membership is costly, but each month they give you the following: Minoxidil ~45 CAD a month on Amazon Multi Vitamin: ~40 CAD a month Shampoo and conditioner: ~50 a month Scalp enzymes: ~23 CAD a month Haircut: ~ 30 CAD a month
So that's around 188 CAD a month give or take = Roughly 3400 CAD for 18 months.
Electric Scalp massager: 66 CAD (amazon). Capillus Cap: ~2200 CAD (Depends which one you buy and if you buy it during sale or not, but I noticed that it goes on sale few times during the year on the website of the product itself).
So we are talking about 5.5k CAD, which is somewhere near where you pay for the membership (ofc they extract their profits from the products and my calculation is not prone to error).
So is it worth it? For what you get, I believe yes given that if you go and buy all these buy yourself you will end up paying pretty much the same price. Not to mention that during your appointment you get hair wash, protein cream, scalp analysis which tells you where you are and progress etc..
Few notes: At some point clients were asked to add Google Review comment mentioning their favourite stylist as there is an internal competition based on the person who would get the most great comments. So the 4.7 stars rank you see for the place may not be accurate or convenient.. I mean I'm not saying they are bad, but it's mostly based on comments from clients they were asked to add. Michael is a great guy. He's a seller and great communicator. Also always there for help and answering questions. Steven (Not sure about the name): Is a nice gentleman, very professional. Did I see improvements with the EXT treatment? Yes I did. But you have to have realistic expectation. It's not a magic treatment that will return your hair as it was back when you were...

From the moment you sign up and hand over your money upfront, it’s a smooth operation of deception. You get one session a month with a hairdresser, and they usually give you an uneven haircut, with one side intentionally longer than the other. This is their way of tricking you into thinking your hair is "growing." You go home each time with a bag of products that, frankly, seem like they could be filled with water. If that were the case, I’m sure it would be just as effective.
While the staff may treat you politely and act professionally, it’s all part of the scam. Every few months, they take pictures of your hair with a microscopic camera, showing you "before and after" shots that look exactly the same. Then they point to some random numbers, claiming you're 30% better. I kept telling myself to trust the process and be patient, but it was all a lie.
At the final session after a full year, Steven (the consultant) was visibly annoyed when I expressed my dissatisfaction. He tried to convince me using random graphs and printed reports, claiming I had regained 90% of my hair. "Congrats! Now go home and keep quiet." When I pointed out that I saw no results, he just kept insisting that the "data" proved otherwise. As if I could walk around wearing those papers on my head for everyone to see the "data"!
I waited a couple of months to write this review, so people who knew me last year could compare the results themselves. Shockingly, most told me I had actually lost more hair!

Read moreHair Club Montreal, is an amazing hair treatment place. I am a member here for almost 2 years now. I received great service and excellent behaviour. Every time I go, the team welcomes me with a big smile and that makes my day. Unfortunately, I had a very bitter experience last week on the phone with the manager Steven. He was extremely rude and impolite to me. While I was talking to him regarding my visits that are left and was asking few questions he spoke to me very rudely and hung up on me. I was very surprised and sad by his rude behaviour because I love going to Hair Club and the team is amazing. The previous manager Eric, is a fantastic, nice guy and was always very polite and helpful. But with this kind of behaviour from the recent manager Steven, I don't feel like going back anymore. Which is sad because I really like the hair specialists there and I really wish Eric comes back. I am extremely sad and disappointed after I spoke last week with Steven. But I must say, that the team is amazing and I am very happy with their service. I posted this last year. But I must say that the present lady at the front, Emily and the team are fantastic! They are very polite and welcoming. I am very happy with their services and the way they treat their customers. My hair specialist Holly is also very nice and helpful, she always answers my questions and gives me the right hair products. I like the hair treatment, I noticed the improvement and I love the way my hair looks at present. Thank...
