I felt very welcome in this synagogue. The Rabbi and congregation were super nice. I am culturally Jewish although my parents were Holocaust survivors and my grandparents were observant, I always felt like an outsider at shul. Now I have my own shul that not only welcomes me but understands and helps me along with the prayers, all the while being accepting of all my faux...

I became an adult Bat Mitzvah at Temple in 2016 and during our year of study was bullied by several members of the group. When I worked up the nerve to tell the Rabbi about it, she didn't take me seriously and said she was sure "they didn't mean it." Isn't there some wiser and more compassionate advice in the Torah?...

A temple! Quite different than synagogues or shuls! Men & women sit side by side! No problem! Music is in! The rabbi is a woman! Temple emanu-El is called reformed! Saturday morning there are services. At times during holy days it joins shaar hashomayim for common activities! Best way to know is to...
