Impressive and scenic—not to be missed! We chose the Whistler PEAK 2 PEAK 360 Experience as the cornerstone for a summer day’s touring while visiting Vancouver. The between Vancouver and Whistler was itself a wonderful experience with plenty of sights from the car if you don’t choose to stop at the many activities along the route. Once to Whistler, we made a quick stop at the Whistler Visitor Centre to get all the tickets and information we needed for the day up on the mountains. There are many activities on Blackcomb and Whistler Mountains with the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola connecting the two. The Gondola really is an engineering marvel running through the valley between the two peaks. The cars are large with seating and standing—we had no trouble getting seats for both our rides on the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola. If you wait in a special line, you can ride a car with a glass floor; we chose the regular cars for both our rides. The ride is about 15 minutes with jaw-dropping views of the mountains, forests, and valleys all around—simply spectacular views. I’m afraid of heights and was a bit apprehensive about gondola, but in the end, the ride was no problems at all for me (however, the Peak Express Chair on Whistler up to the top of Whistler Peak was too much for me—eyes closed). At the time of our visit, I believe the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola was the primary means to get on Blackcomb, and the facilities and hiking on Blackcomb are well worth the trip. Highly...

My recent trip on the Peak to Peak Gondola in Whistler was nothing short of breathtaking! This incredible gondola connects Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, offering some of the most jaw-dropping views I’ve ever experienced.
We opted for the glass-bottom gondola—yes, the line was longer, but it was absolutely worth the wait! Soaring high above the valley floor, we felt like we were floating in the sky. The trees below looked like tiny miniatures, and the panoramic views of the Coast Mountains were simply unreal. Even though I’m usually fine with heights, I have to admit—my knees felt a little wobbly looking straight down through the glass floor! It was thrilling in the best way possible.
The ride was smooth, and the engineering feat of this gondola (one of the longest and highest in the world!) really adds to the sense of awe. I can only imagine how magical this must be in the winter, blanketed in snow and surrounded by skiers and snowboarders. I’m already planning my next trip during ski season!
If you’re visiting Whistler, this is a must-do—whether you’re an adventure seeker, a nature lover, or just someone who appreciates stunning views. Don’t skip the glass-floor cabin—it’s a memory you’ll...
Read moreFantastic view, pleasant weather (June), great experience, unique location. I am not into the ski and winter sports but this location gave me a very peaceful and calming time. I enjoyed watching a black bear eating grass, whistlers eating and sleeping under the furious sun, singing hermit thrushes and other species. Moving up and down is very easy specially lift chairs which are fantastic. The money you pay worth every penny but food and gears up here are...
