St. Mary's Cathedral — Attraction in Winnipeg

I used to love attending mass at noon here .two years ago while attending mass when I had gone up for communion I had also wanted communion for my mother who was ill . When I asked the priest for the communion I had presented a pill box which was from st Patrick's from Ottawa .I know it wasn't the proper container .so the priest Jeffrey took me to task about what parish did I go to this wasnt the proper way .he was so reluctant to give me a piece of Jesus for my I'll mother .you are supposed to present Jesus yet you should pray for your big ego .the Jesus I know and love are...

Went to this church with my toddler, and after the mass, Fr Joff approached us and told us how it was “very very difficult” for him to continue the mass and asked us to go in a secluded area next time.. so I told him that there was no speaker in that area which he confirmed off. My child was not screaming! I think that was the reason why he did not bless my child when walked down for communion. This a beautiful old church. Weekday masses start at 12:10 so people can get there on their lunch breaks. If you take wine at communion sit near the front because they always run out. Take a laminated prayer card because they do a different introductory prayer. Young priest who gives great homilies. They also recite the Rosary before weekday mass, but they quip it pretty fast, so the congregation sounds a little mumbly. Very nice congregation with 90% Asian ladies, so you will never have a bad view of the pulpit if you...
