Incredible! Dining here feels like experiencing the mastery of a French chef combined with fresh Chilean ingredients. From the first bite of the bread to the last spoonful of dessert, everything not only looked amazing but tasted even better!
We went for dinner and started with the “Salteado de Ostiones”, which were tender, flavorful, and perfectly paired with fresh vegetables. We also had the “Centolla al Natural”, featuring generous chunks of crab. Both dishes were beautifully prepared and elegantly plated. We paired these with a white wine (unfortunately, the name escapes us!) that turned out to be an excellent choice.
For the main course, we ordered the “Merluza Austral” and the “Mero”. Both dishes were flavorful, cooked to perfection, and presented with impeccable attention to detail.
To finish, we indulged in the “Trilogía de Crème Brulée” and the “Volcán de Chocolate”. Every element was clearly handcrafted by the chef with care and precision. Just perfect. Kudos to Eric (the chef)!
After this dinner, we continued our journey to Torres del Paine, but we couldn’t stop raving about this restaurant to everyone we met. We’re pretty sure we convinced at least six people to discover 'La Cuisine' for...
Read moreLa Cuisine is an unexpected yet incredible restaurant located near the end of the earth. The king crab lasagna was absolutely phenomenal, rich with crab but light in flavour, with thin sheets of pasta, zucchini and dollops of pesto rounding out the flavour profile. The lightly seared scallops entree is also worth mentioning, as was the Chilean sea bass on a pile of ratatouille. I would be amiss however if I didn't tell you to skip the french onion soup - where it should be rich in flavour and overflowing with carmelized onions, it was not. But honestly it didn't matter because the rest of the dishes gladly took centre stage. Muchas gracias to our server who was also so impressive - he worked the room of about ten tables and 30 covers with personality and ease, as the only server on the floor for the two nights we were there. I will be dreaming about that king crab lasagna...
Read moreMy husband and I visited PA a few months ago enroute to Patagonia and stumbled upon this incredible restaurant! My friends are there now and I highly suggested it to them(& realized I forgot to add a review).. Even months after I can still remember our delicious meals. My husband had heard of Congrio, that it is excellent but hadn't yet tried it so he went for that. I ordered the Chillean Sea Bass bc surprisingly enough this fish is hard to find here in Chile. Both were served over ratatouille that blew my mind. The Congrio definitely lived up to its reputation, we both loved it. I even asked the chef (who speaks several languages well) how he made the ratatouille so delicious?! He happily told me exactly how to make it. What a Sweetheart..Truly everything about our experience here was lovely. I believe you cannot go wrong in whatever...
