Greetings, fellow jet-setters and seekers of the extraordinary! If you find yourself in the dazzling wonderland of Macau, there's a sparkling gem that's not to be missed - the W Macao, nestled inside the Studio City complex. I recently had the pleasure of staying in one of their lavish suite rooms, and while it was nearly flawless, there were a few quirks that made my experience all the more memorable. Let's start with the suite room. Exceptional quality, sumptuous comfort - it's the kind of room that makes you question if you've been living life wrong all this time. Plush pillows, dreamy beds, and a view that'll have you feeling like a high-roller even if you're just sipping tea in your bathrobe. This room was so good; I contemplated canceling my return flight and setting up shop permanently. Now, let's talk breakfast. Oh, the breakfast buffet was a symphony of flavors and choices that could rival any Vegas buffet. You've got a wide array of options that'll tickle every taste bud in your party. From flaky pastries to exotic fruits and everything in between, it's a food lover's dream come true. Just remember, leave room for seconds, and thirds, and fourths. But what about the pool, you ask? Well, it's a tale of two worlds. For adults seeking a leisurely dip, it's just perfect - a standard mid-sized pool where you can soak up the sun and sip your water bottle with style. However, for the little ones who crave waterpark adventures, they might find it a tad boring. Fear not, Studio City has an indoor and outdoor waterpark that'll leave the kiddos squealing with delight. And speaking of Studio City, the W Macao gives you the golden ticket to everything it has to offer - the casino, the food court, and luxury shopping that'll make your casino wins (or credit card) quiver in excitement. Now, here's the scoop for the savvy traveler - the W Macao just opened in 2023 September, and they're still ironing out some kinks. There was a bit of a line-up at check-in, but the staff, while super friendly, seemed to be playing the "new kid on the block" card. Check-in took a tad longer than expected, and when I asked about the nearby ATM, it was like they were hunting for hidden treasure. It's safe to say, they're still getting their sea legs, but I have no doubt they'll get there. One small gripe - there were no fast lanes for us Marriott elite members. It's like being a VIP at a concert but having to wait in the same line as everyone else. Come on, W Macao, give us elite folks a little sprinkle of that VIP magic! In conclusion, if you're a tourist ready to embrace luxury and adventure in Macau, the W Macao is your ticket to opulence. Lavish rooms, a delectable breakfast buffet, and easy access to Studio City's wonders make it a top choice. Just remember, they're still fine-tuning their game, so be patient and enjoy the quirks – it's all part of the fun!

We visited during the weekend and booked 3 rooms requesting for same floor beforehand. At around 3pm or so, received the notification from the Marriott app that the rooms are ready. As such, we proceed to the hotel for check-in. While we approached the front desk at around 4:25pm, re-confirming with the front desk staff on our same floor request, we were advised that only 1 room is ready and the two rooms would be ready for about an hour. We are not quite satisfied as (1) the notification made the wrong information that all rooms are ready (2) this is against hotel 3pm checkin policy. We in turn request to have one room for late check out at 4pm and our request was finally being acceded to after some hesitation of the staff member. I reckon our request are well justified as we are making our well deserved time balance which we should have enjoyed our time should we have the room ready by the time during our check-in (2) we are only requesting for late check out of one room, but not three which hotel could have the other two rooms for cleaning and ready for other guests, with the hope that other guest would not experienced what we have encountered. We approached the front desk again at 1735. To our utter surprise, both rooms are not ready yet and 10 minutes of waiting one room was available “finally”. The hotel Manager did came from the back office and apologied for the situation and said what they could do is to chase the housekeeping for the remaining room. She could indeed offer us another room immediately but it would not be in the same floor. A very indifferent attitude and no empathy. The reception area is full of guests waiting for room until 5:30pm. The last room is finally ready at 6:04pm, 3 hours late against the check-in policy. This hotel should be experiencing these habitual problems frequently. As such they get used to complaints and dissatisfaction from customers on delayed offering of rooms and they are very indifferent to customers’ feeling. Better avoid unless you only need your room late and don’t mind waiting in the reception area for prolonged hours.

The hotel just next to Parisian hotel. Night time can see the beautiful Parisian hotel and its tower. Check in seems ok. Not as bad as other people said on google reviews. Second in the line. Waited about 5 mins. Check in process takes a bit time but still acceptable. Got the room right away and no need to come back at later time. But I have to say their lobby is very small compare to other Marriott chain hotels. 3 check in counters open that day. Not enough sitting area makes it easily feel the stress the staff and customers must have during peak hours for check in and check out. The room was upgraded and is spacious . Unfortunately the bath tub not working . Can't fill up the tub. Seems like leaking or seeping through the drains. Didn't mentioned to hotel staff as I already unpacked and dont want to switch rooms. There is no taxi in front of hotel lobby at most time. But hotel staff helped to call taxi using mobile apps. Sometimes have to wait a bit. But at the main mall lobby got many taxis. So that's another option. The breakfast is good. I like their croissants. And I love their cereal bar with lots of varieties of nuts and pumpkin seeds. I got them to add onto my salads. They always ask you what drinks you want but that takes long time. So be patient when you ordered tea or coffee. If you dont need hot drinks , just get the juice right off the counter is easier or if you are in a rush to leave on time.

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of impeccable. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the attention to detail and the luxurious atmosphere. The location of the hotel was perfect, offering stunning views and easy access to everything we wanted to explore. One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary room upgrade we received as a valued member. This thoughtful gesture truly elevated our experience and set the tone for the rest of our stay. The upgraded room was incredibly spacious, beautifully designed, and exuded luxury in every corner. The amenities provided were top-notch, with every detail carefully considered to enhance our comfort and enjoyment. The washroom was especially remarkable, offering a luxurious and relaxing ambiance that added to the overall indulgence of our stay. The views from our room were breathtaking, providing a serene backdrop to our time spent relaxing after a day of exploring. Each evening, returning to our upgraded room felt like a reward in itself, making our experience even more memorable. The combination of luxury, comfort, and exceptional service made our stay truly special and created memories that will stay with us for a long time. In short, our stay was amazing, and we are incredibly grateful for the exceptional experience provided by the hotel. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable getaway

Checking in was unacceptable. It's the first impression when a guest steps into your property and the snaking crowd in front of your reception is really "wowing" me away. The Caucasian lady at the check in counter did not offer a single word of apology when I mentioned that I have queued for 1.5hr. This is a severe lack of empathy and professionalism! I heard from the staff that such afternoon/evening check-in queues were common sights. These few sentences summarized my first impression of W Hotel Macau. My wife has picked this as it was newly opened, to celebrate our anniversary. The rooms are clean, neat and spacious. We are grateful and appreciate the complimentary red wine from the hotel and special mention to a lady by the name of Charlie who has always been warmth and helpful over the phone whenever we made enquries. It's always a joy speaking to her. The staff here always look professional and cool, never warmth nor approachable/welcoming, with the exception of Fidel whom we had some small talks while he helped to get a taxi for us. Location is good as there were quite a variety of eateries nearby. Most importantly, kids like the indoor water park. Generally W Hotel always portrays a hip and cool impression. It is entirely different from Hotel Okura Macau which we previous checked out from. The premise looks modern and as as brightly lit and the cool staff complements the theme well.

Style Designed by Zaha Hadid architects Setting. A short walk from the Londoner and other more centrally located hotels Explore. Vibrant Las Vegas of Asia. Rooms. 557 rooms. Got upgraded to a gorgeous suite with a late 4 pm checkout (1518) with fantastic views. Fully stocked mini bar included a bottle of Veuve @ the hotel. Checked in at ten pm yet still had to stand in line. As I had to rush to a restaurant, and as especially at the Cotai ferry, there is always a shortage of taxis, I asked for a car transfer and they quoted me via email MOP4025 (US$500) for a Toyota Alphard for the 10 minutes 4.5 km ride (which no sane person would pay for) ! For my 2nd night in Macau, I arranged an alphard for my departure via St Regis for MOP470 Food & drinks. Went to Blind Tiger bar. From the time I ordered to the time my very simple double gin tonic arrived, took 16 minutes Prices. US$139 for the room Rating. 4/5 a superb bargain because of the room upgrade. At this price point, the slow bar service/check was irrelevant but still think the car transfer price was insane
