We came on foot from Parque 93 and found the door closed and locked, but we rang the bell and were then treated to a personal tour by the guardian. Amazing! This place deserves more visitors - come, you still not be disappointed.

A very pleasant afternoon can be had visiting this secret treasure of Bogota and the nearby (10 minite walk) Parque del Chico with its own heritage house. The artist's home is largely as it was when he died in 2004 and is full of his own work - paIntings, sculptures and more. Its qiite a secure site, so knock on thedoor and you ll be shown through. If you dont lspeak Spanish, make sure you have your online translator ready to go. I'm from Australia, so wasn't familiar with Gaud, but am keen...
