Gorgeous vantage point over the old walled city. The cable car is still closed in early March (winter hours) and we were on a time crunch so we had a driver take us straight from the airport to the top and then back down to other old town. Easy little drive up, but it is a narrow road with a few switchbacks so if you’re driving, be aware you may need to pull to the side to let other cars pass and on the switchbacks, use the mirrors posted at the turn to see if anyone is coming opposite so you can turn with a wider berth (apparently many tourist drivers don’t think to make their turns wide enough).
Worth the vantage point and I wish we had had time to visit the war memorial museum. Our driver was very knowledgeable and was also able to tell us some of the history of the battle and siege there from their war of independence...

We decided to hike and it was the best decision possible ! It took us about 40 minutes (in November) and the trail was relatively easy.
