It was indeed the best stay I could have opted for a stay while in Croatia. The view from the balcony is breathtakingly beautiful! Yes, I totally agree that the stairs we’d to climb on the first day was a lot with our heavy bags, but then it’s much simpler if we take a cab till the ulika (street), as then there are not much stairs left to climb. So, pls take a cab for those with heavy luggage or who aren’t party to climbing stairs (& the cabs are really cheap too). I’d totally recommend this place for anyone visiting Croatia as it’s within reachable distance to majority of the tourist spots in Old Town, Dubrovnik. Friendly staff and great view over the old town. Quite a lot of stairs from old town however. There are a lot of stairs in Dubrovnik over all but it is worth to notice. If you are normally fit it will be ok =) The apartment was clean and ok equipped, two small cooking-plates and some basic cooking equipment. The area is calm and we didn't hear anything from the other appartments. We had our own small terrace but also access to the larger one. If you want the hustle of the town, the restaurants and swimming in the sea and jumping from the cliffs, the walk down the stairs is really short, not more than 10 minutes. We stayed for three nights and were satisfied. The room and bathroom were clean, and the view from the room, especially at sunset, was wonderful. The lady who owns the hotel was very friendly; despite the check-in time being 2 PM, she allowed us to check in at 11 AM.
