⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable Feast for the Senses!
Dined on: [Date of Visit, e.g., September 2023]
Where do I even begin? This wasn't just a meal; it was a highlight of our trip to Dubrovnik. We came for the famous views, but we left raving about one of the most incredible culinary experiences we've ever had.
Let's start with the Lemoncello Spritz. I’ve had Aperol Spritzes all over Italy, but this local twist was a revelation. It was perfectly balanced—not too sweet, not too bitter—with the vibrant, sunny flavour of authentic lemoncello shining through. It was crisp, refreshing, and the ideal way to toast to the beginning of a magical evening. An absolute must-try!
Then came the risotto. My goodness, the risotto! I ordered the seafood risotto, and it was, without a hint of exaggeration, perfection. The Arborio rice was cooked to an impeccable al dente texture, each grain luxuriating in a deeply flavourful, briny broth that tasted like the essence of the Adriatic Sea. Packed with fresh, tender clams, prawns, and squid, every single bite was a delight. It was clear that this was a labour of love, simmered patiently and with expert care.
And then there’s the setting. The view. The photos do not do it justice. We had a table right on the terrace as the sun began to set. The entire ancient city of Dubrovnik, with its iconic orange-tiled roofs and formidable stone walls, was laid out before us, glowing in the golden hour light. Watching the colours change over the Old Town while enjoying that spectacular food and drink was a moment I will cherish forever.
The service was attentive and warm, perfectly complementing the elegant yet relaxed atmosphere.
Yes, it is a premium dining experience, but every single penny is worth it. You are paying for world-class food, inventive drinks, and a view that is literally priceless. If you are in Dubrovnik, do not miss this place. It’s the perfect recipe for an unforgettable evening: amazing risotto, a brilliant Lemoncello Spritz, and the breathtaking views...
Read moreRestaurant Panorama is an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Perched high above Dubrovnik on Mount Srđ, it offers what are arguably the most spectacular views in the city. You reach it via the cable car, and as soon as you step onto the terrace, you’re greeted with sweeping 360° views of the Old Town’s terracotta rooftops, the Adriatic Sea, and the surrounding islands.
The food more than lives up to the setting. The menu focuses on fresh Mediterranean cuisine with local Dalmatian influences – beautifully prepared seafood, perfectly cooked meats, and vibrant seasonal produce. Standouts include the grilled fish, black risotto, and the tender steak dishes, all paired with an excellent Croatian wine list. The service is professional yet warm, and staff are happy to recommend dishes or wines to complement your meal.
The atmosphere is relaxed and elegant, whether you visit for a long, lazy lunch or for a romantic sunset dinner. Watching the sun sink behind the Elaphiti Islands as the city lights twinkle below is truly magical – one of those moments that defines a trip to Dubrovnik.
Tip: Book ahead, especially for sunset tables, as they fill up quickly. Try to arrive early and enjoy a drink on the terrace before dinner.
⭐ 5/5 – World-class views, superb food, and a once-in-a-lifetime...
Read moreWe had a couple of good days weather and 2 not so great days weather.
We didn’t manage to get a reservation on line as the restaurant was fully booked.
We then decided to walk up the route from the bottom and what a lovely walk.
A clear path all the way up. Not too difficult or strenuous, and there was people doing it in fashionable flip flops. I would definitely recommend sturdy trainers.
Upon arriving at the top of the hill, we managed to time it really well so we were only about half an hour away from the sunset.
We walked round to the bar and there was a table available as well with a fantastic view.
It was quite cold and they have lovely warm blankets and great heaters that they placed directly over you whilst she walked out having drinks and food.
We already had a reservation for food, but highly recommended this place for food.
The cocktails were great as Prosecco.
The service was lovely and we ended up getting a cable car down for €15, which is a little bit steep but well worth it.
I would highly recommend this place for the best of views of the town of Dubrovnik. also the best place to watch the sunset is not in the restaurant but round the corner where you can walk on a path and a seat on some rocks. But if you don’t fancy that, you can still get a really good view from...
