Everything is in Czech, you need to use google translation, but it’s fine —— the collection is AMAZING and you MUST VISIT THIS! They have tour guide but we were in a rush so didn’t ask for it, otherwise the visit could be nicer :)

SUPER friendly staff. The granny was so sweet and we felt super welcomed :) can use credit card and they have some cool souvenir, but you need to purchase before 5:30 otherwise may miss a chance to buy. They have a nice garden! It’s really beautiful, it’s a nice walk to walk through the garden to the museum. AMAZING collection! They have many folk art and fancy clothes for you to discover. I was amazed by the handicraft (the glass bottle with decoration inside)! It’s soooo pretty. Super clean toilet! FREE LOCKERS! Description is in Czech… I would like to know more. Books are also in Czech, would like to purchase a book about folk arts or Czech...

Great museum to visit if you want to learn about Czech folk culture! I really enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly despite the language barriers and the museum is very appropriately priced. Unfortunately, all of the information about each artifact you will see is in Czech. However, upon entering each exhibit room you will see a large frame (sometimes around the doors) that provides information in English, giving you a general sense of what the room has to offer. I also am surprised to see that the lockers were free-- they tried to charge me one euro to use it... but ended up allowing me to have it for free when I did not have any euros on me, whoops. I guess that could be a testament to how nice the staff are! Regardless, I think this is a really neat sight to see in Prague and...

The museum is completely empty. The staff is very rude and they dont have any regards towards the visitors. The old lady who sold us tickets was very loudly talking with the rest of the staff being very anti EU. After we returned from the exebition the same lady was SMOKING inside behind her desk and listening (with her colleagues) to an pro Russia and anti Ukraine podcast on full volume. Some very racist and xenophobic things were said. Apperently, the reason why everything is going wrong here is because of ukranians, imigrants and czechia being in the EU. Horrible. The smell of the tobbacco filled the whole museum and made it very uncomfortable. The exebition was...

At the end of the 18th century, Princess Marie Rosa Kinská (née Harrachová) purchased the land of the abandoned vineyards of the Plasy monastery with the site called Vrabcovna (Sparrow's House) on the southern slope of Petřín Hill. The suburban villa from the first half of the 19th century was built by Prince Rudolf Kinsky in the style of late classicism according to the design of the Viennese architect Heinrich Koch. In 1901 it became the seat of the Czechoslovak Ethnographic Museum, since 1922 it has been the seat of the Ethnographic Museum. The dominant feature of the summer palace is its facade, which is supported by massive ancient columns.
