What a gem in Prague. We were first introduced to this place as our Airbnb was across the street and it was raining outside all day. The food is some of the best Ive had in Prague on my 4 visits here. Luba our host was super friendly and attended our every need. I tried to speak Czech and I know she appreciated the try 🙏 Cozy place in the basement, great Pivo, we had chicken schnitzel and potatoes and omg what amazing flavours. Second night we had goulash and by far the best I've had. Please try the Czech deserts as well you will be sad if you don't try. What I really love about Czech life is the servers don't bother you while you eat , they will however ensure your beer is always full 😄 once your done your plate ensure your knife and fork lay on top of the plate. Yesterday we visited Restaurace U Dělového Kříže in Prague and I had a great experience there. The ambiance of the restaurant was really nice, especially on a rainy day, and the service was warm and friendly. The waitress was attentive to our needs and were happy to help with any questions I had about the menu.

The food was definitely the highlight of our visit. The ingredients were fresh and the flavors were authentic, traditional and delicious. The beer was also great and went perfectly with the food. While it's not the cheapest restaurant in town, I still think it's worth the price for the quality of food and service you receive.

What a fantastic restaurant. The food was amazing and exactly as expected we ordered the Pilsner goulash with bread dumplings and the Beef burger both were amazing. The staff were even better very polite and welcoming and were at hand for whatever we needed. Lovely rustic interior and you have to try the draught beer with a hint of caramel. Superb !
