Tuto fontánu začala smíchovská radnice budovat právě ve dnech veliké povodně na místě někdejšího tanku č. 23 před Justičním palácem, v malém parčíku, kde kdysi stávala Medvědí fontána. Odhalena byla 17. října 2002 večer. Šedesát čtyři trysek a čtyřicet světel řídí počítačový program. Voda protéká průrvou mezi dvěma polokruhovými a ve středu neopracovanými kamennými deskami. Vnější okraj ze syenitu (hrubozrnný hlubinný magmatit) je jemně opracován. Sochař Jan Lauda chce kašnou připomínat pomíjivost času i pomíjivost historických událostí.
