Dear Fisketorvet Today 06 April sunday 2025 around clock 1600 we visited Fisketorvet information desk to ask something about the child car. Just as i was approaching the desk, a couple with a small children approached the information desk and ask for papers(serviette in danish) as their child was bleeding from the nose. The receptionist very rudely dismissed her with a answer No we dont have any papers here. Its understandable that help desk dont have papers but she could politely tell those people with kids to go to toilet where they can easily find papers and water. After all she is sitting in help desk. Those couple were amazed with that type of response.
Then it was my turn to ask about children car and how can i pay to lease it for couple of hours. Same type of rude answer : We dont have information about those cars just go to the car and find it yourself.
Secondly i asked her as i have recieved a gift card for my birthday so i showed her in my mobil how can i claim it. The lady again in rude tone told me that we dont have any thing left. if you dont have anything left why did you email me and tell me to come claim it.
If the help desk cannot help with anything why have you set it up. The lady was behaving so rude we were both stunned and let me clarify here that both of us parents the earlier child whose nose was bleeding and us have skin colour . I have written about this experience in Google review and Facebook.
The bathroom and toilet and whole facility in Fisketorvet is one of cleanlist and best you can find in Copenhagen. Our children just love to come in this shopping mall and spend time here every week even though we live near Rødovre centrum.
This kind of behaviour is unacceptable and we are really...
Read moreI've had experiences coming here for 10+ years working in one of the stores and of course also as a customer, and let me say that the place can be great and terrible.
First off I'll list the obvious negatives. -The parking is incredibly stupid and ridiculously expensive. -The center has made some kind of deal with Pokémon Go to make fisketorvet the place to be when playing. This can make the center absolutely terrible to be in when it's crowded, as half of the people there are just standing in crowds blocking the way for everyone without a care. -It's a VERY busy center on weekends. -Some of the people hanging out there can be obnoxious as hell, and the security seems to have their work cut out for them.
Now the positives are there as well though. -One of the best places to shop in my opinion, it's convenient and the stores are tightly packed. -It's a nice place to just walk around and relax while the weather is bad outside, there's a lot to do and a lot to gawk at. -Compared to a lot of other centers it's easy to find your way around -If you want buffet there's a gigantic part of the center dedicated to only that, and they are open after the rest of the place has closed.
I would say it's a fine place to be, and I'll choose Fisketorvet at times, but there's a lot that could improve. They are planning a huge expansion soon, so I'm excited to see what comes of it, and an Ikea is opening very closely as well, so thumbs...
Read moreI really like this mall. From the outside it does'nt look like the biggest nor best mall but dont be fooled by the simple exterior. When you enter it's crisp and modern architecture. Tall seelings and polished hard rock floors sets the mood in this, my favorite mall. The name roughly translates to "fishers market" and this must have something to do with the location. Outside the back entrance runs Copenhagens water channels and the view is lovely. Not to cramped, even on bussy days. Here's lounges to relax, several choices in food, drink and shopping. Service minded personal. Clean restrooms with changing stations. Intetactive information screens with maps and store locator are scattered around the mall. There is a manded service station located on the ground floor. Offers free parking (up to 6 hours if you visit the cinema!) Handicap accesable (lifts to every floor and slended escalators) If you live in Denmark you can get a free membership card for even more perks and discounts. They even throw in a birthday goodiebag, on your...
