Very friendly atmosphere, the menu was all in Danish, but the boy readily explained me in what consisted each meal as I asked, and even showed me the plates and helped with gestures, so it was very clear. I had my lunch in peace as I like 😊. The toilet was clean, it has everything - paper, soap, hot water, mirror. It was a very good experience overall. I recommend the place, and you can have a view of the seafront of the Islands brygge 😍, depending on the table you choose. The prices were adequate for this popular zone, and the rate food quality and amount vs price is very good

We got shish kebab retter (170 dkk) shawarma retter (130 Dkk), a falafel Durum Menu(105 Dkk) and a Manakish (50 Dkk) Manakish was my first time basically like a pizza. The quality of food is on top. The portions, ummmm filled us up so full. It’s a must try place for quick lunch if you hungry and want good shawarma. Food: ✅✅✅Superb. Service: Self Ambience: General Shawarma place vibe.

I’ve been an avid fan of the traditional Lebanese shawarma for many years. It was love at first bite when I first had one here in Copenhagen back in 1980 and as a true fan I have researched nearly every new shawarma bar that has popped up during the past four decades. I can say without any hesitation that Shawafël is leading the board these days when it comes to finding the tastiest, juiciest and most delicious shawarma. It definitely doesn’t make it any worse that the staff are super friendly and sometimes drops a little falafel ball as an added bonus on your sandwich. Shawafël is also a great place to get your stomach eased if you’re not a carnivore as the vegetarian food is every way as tasty. I can’t recommend this...

Super rude and disrespectful staff My experience. I ordered my food and when the food was ready it was packed as take-away. But I wanted to eat at the restaurant So I asked for plate and cutlery The staff told me that it was packed as take-away and that I had to eat my food as it was Prepared I asked if he kindly could unpack it . He couldn’t . Then we seriously argued about it!!

Luckily another staff member was smart enough to just give me a plate and actually do the job But there was no smile and no apology

I am not a dog or a stupid cow. I am a human being and you must treat me with respect , kindness and gentleness.

The food is super good. The staff is horrible You need to change...

This was yum! I had the luksus falafel and loved it! Didn't taste the tahini at all, but the chickpeas and cauliflower were a super addition. The durum was a winner and 70kr is not a bad price!

The service was quick...not super personable tho...

The restaurant has s good number of tables and nice to have a toilet 🚻 there too.

Extensive menu!!! I noticed they have samosa and I'm keen to try the chips next time!

Nice location by the water. 💧

Update: prices on some things have gone up...typical. I have now tried the luksus falafel pita and it was quite small. The durum is better value. The staff are still not...
