I went to a mall for a lunch because as a student im trying to travel on a budget and thought a food court in a shopping mall wouldnt be as expensive as some restaurant in centre of Copenhagen. Wrong. When i came in almost everything was above 100 dkk which i soon found out that thats normal amount of money for food in Cph i guess. (Im from Czechia and a food court in a shopping mall is like the cheapest option you can get food from, so i wasnt really expecting that) I would get past the price if the food was delicious, but you guessed it, it wasnt😜 There was a place named Wok Wok on the first floor of the food court. It looked fine on the outside. I ordered Pad thai with tofu. It was overpriced, tasted horrible and a really small portion for the price (around 160 dkk). In comparison to Amsterdam which is also mostly expensive for a student i ate in a luxury italian restaurant in there for the same price. I also want to mention that the tables and seats in the food court were so dirty everywhere. For the whole time ive been there no one came to clean it up. I would at least expect a clean enviroment when the food is so overpriced. If you want cheap and good food definitely go to IKEA (one is actually right in front of the mall). Lunch + drink + a piece of cake cost me 60 dkk in total‼️ Save your money, time...

This incident highlights a concerning trend of commercial greed, where even the provision of a basic necessity like water is subject to profit-driven motives. The insistence on selling bottled water, despite its negative environmental impact and unnecessary nature, reflects a troubling disregard for sustainability and...
Read moreI am not a big fan of mall food courts - but Kajen is definitely a level up! I love what they've done with the place, it looks much more open and well lit - and it has terraces both on ground floor and on rooftop. The food selection is definitely improved - and the atmosphere is quite chill! It's still a mall - and it can get busy - but you will eat well, it's got a good selection and...
