Kulturhuset Islands Brygge — Attraction in Copenhagen Municipality

How sad! Probably one of the very best locations in Copenhagen and they fail so terribly! Atmosphere is that of a worn out frat house. No style what so ever and that is in a cultural environment even! Bathrooms are overpissed and dirty with sporadic paint over the graffiti. If it was a sleezy bar it would be acceptable but not for a cultural center in one of the finest locations in Denmark. The food, ordered a oxen burger which fell apart in my hands.. The bun that is. It ended up being a casserole on the table. The fries is probably the worst I ever had. Fries are not supposed to be tough and chewy?! For 145,- DKK it HAS to be perfect! Staff is hopelessly incompetent. I ordered pasta and asked if I could eat it before a show started. They reassured me that it would be noooo problem. Pasta never came. Looking at the other people who got their food I was mildly relieved I didn’t have to eat it though. What a waste of time and money. When I told the staff I didn’t need the food anyway I was pretty rudely told off. Let’s hope no foreigners go there. And no you don’t get your money back when they mess up, you just get a rude joke. Strongly recommend to avoid here in this Corona times. The food was ok but they don't respect the hygine rules at all.

I saw the kitchen personel touch the fries and move them from one plate to another by hands without any gloves.

The tissues in the front desk were just left on the desk out of a special holder.

The forks and knives were not in a closed container and every one touches all of them. Here is a place that people easily get affected by Corona !
