If you are going to charge premium prices you must deliver premium product. I am neither a tourist or a local but sonething in between with my living and visiting Egypt since 2012. I paid 500egp or 10usd for a kunafa and a pot of tea. The kunafa was poorly made like a pizza with all the toppings in the center leaving a huge chunk of shredded filo dough with no cheese. I asked for mint with the tea (grows like weeds in Egypt, super cheap) and after two attempts was still half rotten, brown and bruised and then had the gaul to charge 150egp. They are a monopoly (i would use the other "m" word but i wont). There used to a lovely mom and pop place selling Kunafa but lasted only one season. There used to be a lovely mom and pop cafe where WS now stands. The only other place for Kunafa on Sheraton is the WS on the other end. Let me not forget there best scam the water bottle they plop on the table whether you ask for it or not. They charge 15egp for it and will not take it off the ticket even though they already plus plus you at the bottom of the check. I would love to know how much they make reselling the same water bottle over and over. Tourists dont notice it on the bill and leave it behind. They throw it back in the cooler to do it all again. The grossest part of the evening is when the assistant to the waiter, after asking for the remainder of the kunafa to be packaged for take away. He took a nasty rag and proceeded to wipe the table debris onto the tray holding the remainder kunafa while he smirked at me. So no i wasnt a "dumb tourist" and forgot the packaged kunafa on the table i left it on purpose....

Everything we tried was prepared with exceptional care and flavor, setting a new bar for Arabic cuisine in the area. This isn't just "good" food; it was truly the best dining experience we had here. From pizza, to grill, stuffed wine leaves and black tea. ✨ The standout star, however, was the Arabic ice cream. Describing it as 'peak' barely does it justice. 🍨
What truly sealed the deal for us was the shisha. After repeatedly being disappointed by cheap, low-quality Egyptian shishas that seem to dominate the tourist areas, finding the shisha at World of Food and Sweets was an enormous relief. The quality here is genuinely European standard, offering the best taste and an incredibly smooth experience. It was the only place we found in Hurghada that delivered on high-quality preparation and premium flavor. If you are looking for authentic, unforgettable food, superb traditional sweets, and a genuinely top-tier shisha experience, look no further. This place is a necessary...
Read moreThis place is the greatest. First off, the prices are fantastic for the quality of food you get. The shisha is brilliant, and I highly recommend trying their milkshakes and waffles. One thing I really appreciated was the menu being in both English and Arabic it made everything so much easier to understand. Plus, they have an online menu you can access with a barcode on the tables. Inside, the sofas are super comfy, and the AC is a lifesaver from the heat. The toilets are spotless too as they are cleaned after every use. Big shoutout to Ahmed, who provided the best service ever. the staff appreciate any tips they receive. What’s even better is that the place is divided into three sections: desserts, café, and restaurant, all right next to each other. You can order from any menu and sit outside or inside. Definitely...
