This peaceful oasis in the heart of Cairo offers a serene escape from the city’s bustle, with lush greenery, elegant fountains, and exotic plants. There were probably only around 20 people at the palace when I visited at the weekend, felt like I had the whole place to myself.

The workers are so friendly and welcoming, the whole palace, including the garden is a must-visit. Closest metro station:Al Sayeda Zainab Best months to visit:October to April Best time of the day to visit:from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, but it isn't too crowded even after that and it can be visited anytime you are in Egypt!
