The room itself was as expected, no surprised. It was not very clean, but acceptable however you expect better from a hotel. We did not take the breakfast nor used the wifi, so I cannot comment on that. Parking was easy and cheap, 8 euros for 24 hours in a major city is really affordable. Location is great, right next to the old centre of the city, however also next to the train station, which I do not mind, but depending on which side of the hotel you are at it can cause more noise than you would prefer.
So far all good.
Staff was very rude. Especially the older lady who did the check-in was very rude, did not say a word and very, very unhelpful. She did not explain anything regarding the parking and was reluctant to do the check-in and ignoring any questions. I am very sure that I paid for a room for me, my fiancee and our dog and I am very sure that the dog was included in the price, however at check-in I got charged another 20 euros on top which is an annoying surprise especially after a long drive and I am pretty convinced that when I booked it was included. If pets are not included, then it is very, very poorly communicated on the page.
Overal; location great, price is reasonable apart from being charged extra for a pet upon check-in, communication is very poor, staff is unpleasant/rude, room is as advertised. I would not book again...
Read moreI stayed 6 nights (Sunday afternoon to Saturday morning). I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again. I read some reviews about noise at night because the hotel is beside a train station and there is a nightclub very nearby. If you stay in a room at the front of the hotel facing the street apparently there is no noise. When I asked about staying at the front of the hotel at check-in, they said there would be an extra cost because it is a, upgraded room at the front of the hotel. While I was in the less expensive standard room which is on the back of the hotel facing the trains. I sleep with earplugs at night and never heard a single sound. The trains were cool to watch. The only thing is sometimes I smelt train fuel in my room when the window was open. The breakfast in the morning was small but it had everything I needed so I was quite happy with it. The room is spacious and has a nice desk but there is only a stool without a back so it’s not great for working. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Bathroom was nice. There is a wardrobe with work hangers. No AC. But during my stay it was 20-25°C so it was good. But if you come to Tallinn during a warmer time you may want a hotel with AC. The location is also good, very close to the old town, just...
Read moreWe had a standard room for two, but upgraded it to Superior room for 5e. It was located on 4th floor and had old town view. The beds were comfortable but the double bed didn’t have a wide mattress, two separate beds were combined only with a sheet, so it was a bit uncomfortable to sleep in the middle of bed.
Friendly service and it was easy to check in and out the hotel. Hotel room was clean and warm enough. You can adjust the temperature (especially important in winter). Toilet and shower were clean. The hotel is not completely sound proof, you could hear kids running either (just the steps, no talking) on the corridor or on the upper floor. That didnt disturb me though. I could not hear car or train sounds.
Buffet breakfast was good, many different options available. There were vegetarian options but not really vegan or gluten free options. These might be available on request though.
The location is perfect, everything is at walking distance. Its nearby trendy Telliskivi district and old town, small shop is just next to it if you want to crab something snacks to eat. There was no fridge in the room, which is a...
