I am absolutely mortified and traumatized by this experience. I came in very excited to try the amazing pastries I heard so much about back home in New York, and for my first time in Paris decided to come to Cyril Lignac on my first day. PRICE💶: One small buche (for one person) is 7 or 8€ so it's very reasonable. They also exist in regular size (8 people) and cost 49€ which is ok for the quality.
SERVICE👩🍳 : The service was very poor. It only took 2 minutes, how could it be so bad ? Even though it was December 23rd, it was not too crowded and the people were still not able to give a good experience. When I went to check, I asked if it was possible to pay with restaurant card, which is possible in any boulangerie or pâtisserie that I go. The employee only said no with a condescending look, not explaining why. Then I was given the buche in a plastic bag (yes in 2023) when everyone else had a paper bag ?
