German Auto Tech — Attraction in Englewood

Highly suggest you get a second opinion to whatever quote they give you. Took my car in to solve some idle issues and an overheating problem. After the repairs were completed I was contacted and was told my car was running good and ready for pickup l. Not even 5 minutes into driving, the overheating persisted and the idle issue was still present. At this point I contacted toshi and he told me to bring the car back where he told me the overheating problem was due to a coolant leak he missed originally. At this point I have already ran the motor hot because I was stuck in traffic on the freeway and white smoke began to come out the exhaust. I asked him to run a compression test on the engine and he refused reassuring me it was my headgasket now. Later I found out from the new person I had working on my car that toshi told him I needed a new motor instead of a headgasket. I understand sometimes problems get misdiagnosed but don't be dishonest with the condition of a vehicle to make a few extra dollars. Update You guys claim to be an honest shop but are dishonest in your response. When I brought the car back a second time I insisted on having a compression check done and toshi refused insuring me it was a headgasket.
