Eiscafé Elisenbrunnen — Attraction in Aachen

I had a very disappointing experience during my recent visit. I was treated in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner by a staff member, which left me feeling deeply uncomfortable and unwelcome.

While sitting at a table with my takeaway gelato, the waitress approached me and began raising her voice in front of other guests, telling me that I could not sit there. Rather than kindly explaining the policy or offering assistance, she spoke harshly and refused to communicate in English, insisting loudly that she only speaks German. I attempted to explain that I was willing to order from the menu, but she walked away abruptly.

As a visitor, this experience made me feel singled out and unwelcome. I raised my concerns with the manager, but unfortunately, there seemed to be little interest in addressing...

I was surprised to see that people have mixed reviews for this place. It's my go-to ice-cream shop in the city. I have experienced great hospitality from the waiters and had no bad experiences. The place serves one of the best ice-creams in Aachen. The flavours are unique and fresh all the time. Some of my fav one's are - Extra Dark, Nougat, Snickers, Tiramisu and Pistachio. I would highly recommend Extra Dark if you've not tried it yet. It is awesome! The staff is friendly and funny. The ambience is good - both inside and outside. The location is perfect! I recently visited Eiscafé Elisenbrunnen and tried their ice creams. Unfortunately, I was not pleased with my experience. As an underage customer, I was shocked to find that the ice creams I ordered had alcohol in them, and this was not mentioned to me by the staff. This made me uncomfortable and left a negative impression on me.
